Fantastic tool. Works flawlessly.
Ok...so I was sceptical to begin with. I'd taken an injector out of my Citroen 1.6hdi engine but simply could not budge the old washer / seal, which had worn out in the centre. I'd tried all the old-school methods; screwdrivers, metal wire, picks, etc. I'd given up and was considering taking it to a specialist, when I found this tool. I suspected it wouldn't work, however I was so wrong. Simply screw it down into the washer, a few taps and it pulls the washer straight out!£35 may sound a lot for something that may end up being a one-time use, however it is a bargain compared with paying a garage to do it. I'll be keeping this for any future injector seals that need replacing. Brilliant item
I used this on my vauxhall insignia a20dte engine to get the seal from the bottom of the Boreas it was went and truly stuck. Before I bought this item I had been for days trying to get the seal removed without any joy, until I bought this item. Came out with abit of persistence and patience. Please remember, take it easy and slow when removing as if you went full force it won't remove it. Took me 5 mins to remove the seal in the bore. Please note for use on the Insignia diesel I had to take the rubber seal off to it would fit the bore of the injector as I see on other reviews for this item people saying it doesn't fit, well it does if you adapt it.
