Comfortable and really helps my knee pain.

My son was suffering from pain after a recess injury and x-rays showed nothing broken or torn The pain only occurred after he had been running for several minutes, which made soccer and track practice difficult for him to enjoy as usual.I got him this brace and there was no pain the first time he wore it to soccer. I have been making him wear the brace every day to recess and to soccer and track practices, and every day he says that the pain is gone. He's actually quite annoyed with me at this point that I'm still making him wear it, but I just want to be sure. Once summer break hits, he won't have to wear it to daily recess and it will just be on our runs and I will allow him some opportunities to run without the brace. Hopefully, the brace gave him the support he needed all these weeks he's been wearing it and now the inflammation has subsided for him to be able to run without a brace full-time.Sidenote: I actually got two different styles, the other one was from another brand that strapped above the kneecap as well the bottom. My son did not like using that style and preferred this brace. It was comfortable for him to wear it even after his runs were over because he had forgotten he was still wearing it. The other style bunched up at the back of the knee as the upper portion would slide down and required regular adjustments which interrupted activities.

When I first saw this I had my doubts. But after using it for several days, and several nights, I think it's safe to say it's amazing. This thing actually works! I have a torn miniscus, my patella slips, my knee locks and pops and clicks and tears - all the time. You know the dance you have to do - extend your leg but your knee is locked so you have to move it around, which hurts. So you slow down or sit down and try to unlock it in time to get to a meeting or the bathroom.After using this, my knee hardly ever locks up and I can straighten it - almost immediately and almost every time I get up. The problems I've been having are so significantly reduced I almost didn't believe it. We actually asked my brother in law (who's an ER doc) if I was crazy or if this was working. He said I wasn't crazy and explained why it works. It works so well, I sent one to my cousin who just had knee replacement surgery.If you think this is a copper bracelet, It's not - it's science. It puts pressure on one of the tendons that typically hold the patella in place and that stops the patella from moving around. It looks impossible, but it works. Bye bye knee sleeve!

This is my 4th purchaseoolong for a support brace that works. I’ve tried the expensive knee stabilizer with medal bars & 2 different types of sleeves. This was my 4th attempt at finding a stabilizer that doesn’t roll down & actually works. 4th times a charm! I can’t believe it. These are small but mighty. Skip the rest these are the best!!
