Bingo Lingo: Supporting literacy with songs and rhymes (Songbooks)

This is such a great book with some fab songs! They all tell you which tune to sing along to at the top of the page so even though you don't know the songs it pretty easy to sing along too.It would have been lovely to see a Cd with this book to use in the car when I can't read along with the book. Kids love this book

children liked the songs and rhymes, staff found it user friendly, bright and inviting for children to get interested in it.

This book is just what i wanted for some new songs to sing with my reception class. easy to sing to.

This is a must-have resource for any teacher in Key-Stage 1 and requires no musical knowledge; new songs/rhymes are set to familiar tunes and can be used to develop various aspects of literacy (onset and rime, alliteration, phonics eg "oo", "ee", "sh" etc) or simply as a fun way to reinforce learning in an odd 5-minute session. I would highly recommend it!

great book we started using it straight away
