I have always been confused about how toners work, do you wash it off of leave it on your skin during the day/night?

You should use toner after washing your face, and before using serum or moisturizer. When to use toner; day and night. Bring toner into your everyday routine and you'll be applying it morning and night. At the start of day, your toner will help to create that naturally healthy base for your make-up.
