Great items
Never thought of getting these before but they are litterly a life saver because I kept slipping with my crutches especially on wet floors not realising how worn my old feet were . I highly recommend these as any slips really hurt my back so they have helped so much.

Sturdy and fit perfectly.
These fitted exactly as expected and seem very sturdy and have a lot of grip. Once fitted they stay securely in place and provide far more grip than the old worn out tip it replaced. I was impressed how easily it fitted and how secure it is once in place. The tip feels solid and well made and hopefully should last a long time.

Colourful ferrules – but is it style over substance?
It's a delight to have a choice of colours and not just the standard black and grey for ferrules for my standard-sized sturdy walking stick. I like the fact that they come in a set of four so there are spare – unless used for walking frames, that is.It was easier to fit that my previous ferrules, just a couple of hard pushes, no almost having to screw it on whilst using lots of energy to do so or having to ask for help because of a lack of dexterity as it's usually such a fiddly job to change them. That was a real plus. However, I'm concerned that the bowl-like style, instead of the normal even rubber rings, means that the outer layer will wear first and it won't last as long as the more even traditional ones. I hope my photos show what I mean better than I've explained it – traditional ferrules have two layers of rubber underneath (upper rings and base) so it's evenly supported and wear at the same time so it won't tilt. This colourful one has the outer ring, then a slope, then two layers at the same height but these are on the inside so the stick won't be fully supported, then the base. This might work better on a walking frame where the weight is more evenly distributed across four ferrules than a walking stick but, with all the weight on a relatively thin outer ring, it doesn't feel as sturdy as the more traditional two-layer design, unfortunately. It's slightly taller than traditional ferrules so sticks might have to be adjusted for comfortable use.4* – I love the colour, love how easy it was to put on and think they'd be great on a walking frame but took a point off for use with a walking stick as the weight is all on that relatively thin outer ring which will wear out faster than a traditional version where half the rings have the same height above the base layer so offer more support. BUT I love having a colourful ferrule

Non slip, and easy to fit
I often need to use a crutch to walk (sometimes use a folding cane, but a crutch usually), and the tip of mine was getting very worn down. It had been at the back of my mind that I needed to get some more, but I kept forgetting until I saw these. They arrived in a pack of four (as I only have two crutches this could mean they last a while!). The photo only shows three, but that is because I was so excited to try it out on one of the crutches that I forgot to take a photo first. Instead I have included a photo of the end of the stick with the tip already fitted to it - if it looks a bit grubby that's because I have been using it outside, in a variety of weather!I was initially a bit worried it would make the crutch a little too tall for me (especially as the old tip was rather worn down), but in reality I haven't noticed it at all. What I have noticed however, is the very excellent non-slip quality of it, even though I have been walking outside in the rain and over fallen leaves etc (not through choice, it's just like that at the moment where I live). I have felt confident and safe as I have taken each step.I also liked that they come in a variety of colours. I chose blue to match the crutch (the original tip was black though), and I think it looks very nice. I'm fairly young to be needing to use a stick, and sometimes making them look nicer does help me to feel more self assured and confident when out and about.

Very robust and heavy duty
This has been the year that I started having to use a walking stick most of the time. I’d inherited an old one but it needed a new ferrule.I saw these and thought I’d try them out. They’re absolutely amazing and do the job perfectly. I like that they’re not the usual black ones, so they blend into the colour of the stick.I’ve bought a new stick too and measured myself properly for it. The old one was ever so slightly too small for me and really needed to be about an inch longer. I still used it but preferred the new one. This new ferrule is so well made and sturdy that it adds just enough height to make the old stick much more comfortable to walk with. It’s basically given me a new stick that is interchangeable with the other one. There are four in the bag so anyone with a walking frame can replace multiple sets without having to buy more. There’s also a steel washer insert that stops the stick from wearing through from the inside: I thought that was a good bit of forward thinking from whoever designed them. They’re a hard rubber and I suspect they’ll take a lot of punishment when they’re being put to the test. The tread on the bottom is very sturdy so they grip very well. Given that they’re quite deep they also seem to be a lot more able to cushion the impact when you put the stick to the ground and place your weight on it.I was lucky enough to receive them as a complementary item for review purposes, as part of the Vine programme: as with anything like this I always consider whether or not I’d be satisfied if I’d paid for them.In this case the answer is a resounding yes. They’re well worth the money and if you’re the stick user you’ll see and feel the difference immediately.
