Ronseal STA016145 Hand Pressure Sprayer

I have had this product for a little while and thought I'd use it at least a few times before reviewing it. It was bought so that I could spray my 12' x 8' shed as I didn't want to use brushes due to the time it would take and I've got to say that it does the job easily. I was using a Ronseal preservative product which has a very low viscosity (much like water) and I managed to coat the entire shed twice in less than an hour. I started around the back of the shed so to get use to the spray 'method' and once comfortable with it, raced around the whole thing. I angled the nozzle up under the slats to ensure that I got the preservative in under the overlaps and the angled nozzle make this quite achievable, you wouldn't be able to do this using a brush as most of the preservative would run into the ferrule unless using a thicker coating product. Cleaning it is a doddle, just make sure that you take apart the nozzle and clean the filter and tip thoroughly in a suitable cleaner for the product that was used. All in all, a very good piece of kit for the price. The only gripes are, pumping it up could be a bit difficult for some folk, and de-pressurising it once the product has run out takes a few minutes.

This sprayer works well in almost every way. You can do a large shed in less than an hour. Where it fails is that it is prone to clogging up a bit too easily. Make sure you only use the recommended products, and clean thoroughly at the end of the session. Also, you can't buy a replacement nozzle in the event that it does need replacing.

takes some getting used to if you are looking for perfection first time you use it. it works fairly easily but as i said, will take some time to perfect it.I sprayed my shed and made a lot of mess.

not wort the money kept blocking up

Awful sprayer! The paint just dribbled out. I also had to asemble myself? So my dad used his five pound sprayer from a cheap shop and it did a great the job! This has gone in the bin!!

Arrived on time and was very easy to use.

Returned faulty. The tank was made in two halves and welded together ( or should have been). Blowing air out by the discharge hose.

Sprayed the fence in no time with ease and good control
