Delicious and smoother than the Starbucks coffees. I ground coarse for a percolator.
A great treat to add to a special day or celebration. Smoother than the Starbucks coffees, not as heavy. I ground this coarse for a percolator. 5 stars.

Blue Mountain is the best
I have been drinking Blue Mountain Coffee off and on for the last 5 years, switching it with Kona (I am a true coffee snob...). After the local coffee shop here decided not to carry Blue Mtn anymore- I decided to give this a try- I was not disappointed at all. This coffee is true Blue mountain, tastes as good if not better than the fresh roasted coffee from my local roaster, and gives that extra jolt of caffeine I have come to love from this premium bean.

Gag Me
I'll say for starters that I am a caffeine junkie. I have been a coffee drinker since I was a very, very young lad. For the past fifteen years I have only purchased whole beans and for the past five years I have used a French press. I've varied my purchases so that I can enjoy different blends and coffees from different continents, coffees that fulfill my morning quest for the perfect cup. I had never tried Jamaica Blue Mountain (having read lots of tales of its great taste and quality production) I wanted to try a small amount before I would shell out close to $40 for a pound of this sought-after bean. I am sure glad I just got a 4oz portion. This is the worst - absolutely bar none (and that includes chow-hall coffee from my military service years) The taste is flatter than flat, the aroma is non-existent - in short it is awful. Thinking I might have somehow done something wrong I brewed another batch in the drip-coffee machine rather than the French press. It was just as blah. Maybe I got a bad batch but for sure I will quickly return to my old faithful Yirgercheffe. As The Who sang "We won't get fooled again!"

The Good Stuff
This is my favorite coffee. I thought coffee was coffee until I tried Blue Mountain. I thought it was just because everything is better on vacation, but it didn't disappoint at home. Made in a french press, it's smooth and doesn't even need cream or sugar (coming from a PSL lover, that's really saying something!) I normally don't drink coffee because it upsets my stomach, but I can drink this freely. I tried Jamaican High Mountain coffee (don't waste your money), and can't wait until I use it up and can buy my Blue Mountain again!!!!

I've never seen the Blue Mountains
I have never seen the blue mountains so i can not rightly say for a fact, "yes this is the real deal." However after reading about this famous coffee i decided to try it for myself. initially i was a little skeptical about paying that much for coffee i had never had before, but i decided to roll the dice anyways. im pretty sure i got burned the first time around when i went out on my own, but i gave it one more try and came to amazon this time, I ordered 1 lbs of the wallenford whole bean, it arrived within a week (im on the west coast)and i put it in the burr grinder and then into the french press. I'm thinking this has to be the real thing because it fits the profile on everything i've read. it is very smooth, rich, low acidity and almost no bitterness. does this mean a weaker coffee? at first sip i thought it may, but it most certainly did not, it was so good i had a second cup and felt like i had had an espresso shortly there after. seem to fit the profile and it is soooo goood! me and my wife love it! we will be ordering more for sure. and i love the little burlap sack it comes in, too cool!

Best coffee ever?
Due to my lifestyle and my occupation, I drink more coffee than water. I've tried everything in the stores, and have had mixed experiences. My dad kept going on and on about Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, so I decided to give it a shot. Ordered one bag in January, and it was good enough to warrant me ordering another back this month. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. It isn't bitter, very smooth and clean. Excellent kick, too. I just wish I had enough on-hand to have a pot of it ready every day. DEFINITELY ordering more in the future, of this brand specifically.

Wow!
This is without a doubt the smoothest coffee I have ever tasted. I couldn't detect even one hint of bitterness. It is, however, by its nature a very light coffee, so if you are looking for a dark and bold roast for say, espresso, you should look elsewhere, for an Ethiopian or something like it. I ordered it from the marketplace seller Aberdeen, with fulfillment by Amazon. It arrived freshly roasted and vacuum sealed. This is definitely the real deal! Beware of the imitation blends, that while are fine coffees, cannot even approach this level. Costing almost as much, they are quite a rip off! If it's from one of the Jamaica based Estates (i.e. Wallenford, Mavis Bank, etc.) then it's real.

j'ai vus un reportage sur ce café j'ai donc eu envie d'y gouter! très bon café mais chère pour 450 grammes! pas sûr d'en commander un autre a part si le prix baisse

I had heard good things about this coffee before trying for myself. I don’t really like black coffee but this is so smooth nothing else is needed. Definitely a game changer when it comes to quality coffee

Given as a present but very satisfied.

Not really what I would have expected from a coffee that is about £28!! If I would compare it to anything it would be Cafe Direct or Monmouth Coffee which for the same amount would cost approx £7-8 and is a much superior coffee. Would not buy again, brought this more out of curiosity than anything else.
