I like these combs. They do hold my medium length hair without loosening. I am very pleased that they work well and they are somewhat flexible and none of the teeth have cracked like the ones I have bought at our retail stores locally.I will buy this comb again and I do recommend them.

I have really thick hair and have had trouble finding hair combs that hold. These are marvelous. Held in place all day. Highly recommend

Love these! They really do grip and stay in hair compared to Goody and others. They also seem less breakable. Just double the price they should be which is disappointing, hence only four stars. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

I used it to secure my "veil" / head dupatta for my wedding day. I showed it to my HMUA and she had other options but I think they all had the same concept so I went with this since it was easy to order and receive right away. I got my mom to hand stitch it on the inner side of my dupatta. She did her best but the stitches were sliding off the first time I tried it on. I am glad I did that the day before. Because this is plastic the stitches weren't holding and sliding right off as it stayed on my head. So I went with asking her to secure it with a different type of stitches. This was the only way we found that it held on to my head. I wasn't entirely uncomfortable while having this on, and it was easy to remove / put back on for shots during the portrait session as well. This did not ruin my hair at all!

Holds Hair securely, and doesn’t poke your scalp. I live in the tropics, and this time of year the humidity and heat is intense. I usually wear my hair up because it gets in the way when I’m doing things. But when my hair is piled on top of my head, over the hours the hair on the nape of my neck frizzes and knots, becoming unmanageable and not very comely. I used to use these years ago just to hold my hair off my face, but for summer this works great to tame the knotted mess from an up do in this heat, my hair is very long and thick. Generally it’s become curly as I’ve gotten older, but I think these would hold even straight, fine hair. It doesn’t pinch, and is very secure. I even dozed off after dinner laying flat on the couch and I forgot the comb was there on thr back of my scalp. It didn’t budge, didn’t poke me, or break from the weight of my head. These definitely work. Make sure you get the right size for your purpose and type of hair. I will order more in br 4” size as well, but these even held my hair off the face when I wore it down as a test run out doing errands earlier. My hair stayed put and I didn’t have to readjust.Glad I found the brand my mom remembered using.

This is a repurchase. The Grip Tuth brand is my favorite clear back combs because my hair is thin and these stay put all day.

I don't know why I thought this product would be any different than every other product. Maybe it was because I was sleep deprived and browsing Amazon for some new hair clips at 4am while nursing my newborn... Whatever it was I woke up and immediately regretted my decision. I just KNEW these wouldn't work for me. I got back onto Amazon to cancel the order, but somehow ordered another one in a different size instead of cancelling the order I made? Their marketing is effective! Anyways, yeah, they don't work for me.Yes they do grip the hair, so much so they are kind of hard to get out. The only problem is my hair is so dense that the style can't stay in place. The comb and the style back out of my hair, with the comb still in the style. I look like a child who got their Mommy's brush stuck in their hair. This happens pretty much immediately after putting it in. My hair just rejects its. My best guess is I have too many strands for the space in the teeth. If you're like me looking for something to hold dense hair, look elsewhere.

These are the very best hair combs!! They hold your hair perfectly and never move! I’ve worn them for years and even though my hair has thinned they still stay put and hold my style! Once my combs in l forget my hair. Brilliant ! l can’t say enough !also transparent so you can hardly see the comb.lots of sizes ,very bendy so easy to slide in and so comfy!

Good grip without pulling or pinching the scalp. Comfortable and light to wear all day. You forget that you have combs holding up. Excellent for my fine thinning hair.
