These lancets seem to be much less painful to me than traditional, one-at-a-time lancets, and it's also very convenient to load the Multiclix lancing device with these. Each cartridge contains six lancets, so for six tests you only have to load your lancing device once. (You *can* reuse lancets, but I don't recommend it. Not only is there an increased risk of infection, I also find that a "second stick" with a used lancet is MUCH more painful.) These are also very easy to handle and load into my lancing device, and I don't have to worry about accidentally sticking or scratching myself with used lancets, because they're neatly contained within the cartridge, and don't stick out. Until researchers can come up with a needle-free method of blood glucose testing, I plan to stay with these! :) The price here is at least comparable (if not better) than brick-and-mortar stores, and it's hard to beat the convenience of home delivery. While this type of lancet is more expensive than traditional ones, to me it's definitely worth it in terms of saving myself from a more painful test. Review: Great Product - Being a diabetic I highly recommend this product the adjustable depth that actually works and doesn't mess up is a big deal. The fact that this thing has a drum of needles is also quite cool. Not sure if this is a safe practice or not but since I'm the only one that uses it. After each use I grab some paper towel and pure a little rubbing alcohol on it and shoot 1 of these needles into it after each use to sterilize it. I usually use 1 needle a week or two before advancing to the next needle. Again I'm not entirely sure this is a safe practice just something I do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The only lancets I buy *by J***N on August 13, 2015* I have used these lancets for years, and while I can get individual lancets free from my Medicare diabetes supply provider, I pay for these out of pocket because they are that much better. I use each lancet 2-3 times (they stay sharp enough to not 'grab' or hurt), so each 'drum' is like 10-15 lancets. They make testing much easier.... it helps to have the drum for clumsy fingers as well. I have arthritis, and using those individual lancets isn't all that easy. The drum protects the lancets between uses, and disposing is easier, as the points never see outside of the drum. They have a 'thing' that pulls up when the drum is removed from the lancing device, preventing reuse.
