it is the perfect size to hold in your hand and it’s a lot easier to use! I bought this for my daughter because she kept cutting her fingers while she was making her bread and this has worked out perfect for her

These are cheaply made, even for the price of them. The blade does not lock in place so you have to hold the button the entire time you are scoring. You also cannot get a deep score in your dough because if you apply any pressure, the blade bends. The blades are also not designed well for doing designs.

It does not cut well.

I bought these to cut designs in sourdough loaves. They’re kinda small, but work well for smaller details. I would buy again

Button broke on one during first use, but the second one seems to work well.

These little bread lays are both cute colors, pink and blue and they worked okay when I used one to score my sourdough loaves, but they are plastic and not a super thick sturdy plastic so I think they work fine and do what they say but I did take off a star for them not feeling sturdy enough to feel like they will last as long as my other more expensive ones. But if you are just starting out and learning how to score these would be neat to have on hand to learn with. I like how the blade can be easily opened and closed.
