Although I don't own a Macbook itself, I've got multiple higher-powered USB-C devices that would benefit from a 100W charger. This 106W Macbook charger does the job perfectly. Using a power monitoring cable, it consistantly throws 100W at my devices capable of handling such. The USB-C cables don't feel loose when plugged into the unit, and it doesn't heat up too much at all, even when running full blast at 100W.A great little charger, at a good value. Recommended.

I got this as I have a lot of devices at home that get charged with USB-C and because it was a fast charger I thought to get it.It charges at a fairly good speed, not superfast but not slow. 1 benefit that I noticed is it charges up to 50-60% quickly and then becomes slow, not sure why it is that. When I charge my laptop with this, I notice it remains charged for longer, that's a plus for me as I usually charge my laptop at night only.Would recommend.

I used this MacBook Pro charger to charge my 2019 16 inch MacBook Pro and it works well and as intended. My computer showed me that it was providing 100W of power and it charged quickly until the battery reached 100% then showed that it was providing power without charging. Perfect.I got it to save transporting the adapter along with the computer as this tends to damage the connections, so that’s really useful.I’m a little disturbed by the warning message on the adapter, though (see photo). What does this even mean?It also gets quite warm in use. Not very hot but rather warm. It’s a bit stiff going into the socket and won’t seem to go quite all the way in (see photo from above socket).I find the lead quite short and would prefer to be able to detach the plug, as you can in a standard Apple adapter, and attach a longer lead to it. This would also make it less bulky in the wall socket. As it is I am yanking on the adapter to push and pull it in and out of the socket and this is going to damage it long term.
