Fantastic little solution, with only one slight negative.
Brilliant, this little gadget is exactly what I needed. I guess there could be a lot of uses for this but for me I use it so I can connect my PC to not only the monitor but also my boombox so if I fancy listening to some music now and then I can hear it in way better quality than the built in monitor speakers.Well enough made, tiny enough to hide away from sight with a simple 2 button set-up(1 to switch between sources and the other for mute/unmute).The slight negative? I think I can notice a slight drop in audio quality from connecting the computer directly to the boombox, compared with going through this unit. But not enough for it to be a real issue, we're talking very slight here and for the convenience this brings that's a small price to pay in my opinion.Would have given 4.5* but as we can't give half stars 4 it is.

Works well for the purpose I bought it for
I'm using it to switch sources for an input to a soundbar. The switching is fine but the mute button just leaves my sound bar humming at the 50Hz mains frequency. However there are other ways to mute the soundbar so I don't care about the mute button on this device. Hence my 5 star review.

Does what it's supposed to!
I needed this so I could connect a Steam Deck and laptop to the same sound system without having to change the 3.5 jack every time I wanted to switch to whichever I was using at the time.It does the trick and is small enough to keep out of the way without a problem. I can get displaced by the weight of cables though so I'd recommend either using a cable tidy to hold the cables or stick this thing down to the desk.It works really well and the buttons have a satisfying mechanical feel to them that makes it feel robust.I think it's a smidge over-priced, but does feel good quality.

very good - if you need one, no problem with this, or need for a better one
I think there is little to say about this, other than I recommend it. But I will still say some things, in the spirit of the review. process. It works, it is a reasonable price, it seems a quality product, does the job, and really I would say if you need one, this is a good one to get. I am sure there might be extra things some people might want that you could get, but if you do not have a specific need for that, well - you decide.Gullible people who believe that 'gold plated' connectors' marketing stuff might well be disappointed. Let them waste their money on something rubbish that shines yellowy, and save your money on something that delivers. That was my experience and a short appraisal.

What's that hum when muting?
The idea of this is great - you can switch between two 3.5mm jack audio devices, either two in/one out for two sources to one destination, or one in/two out for one source to two destinations. When doing that, it works here. But there's also a mute button and when that's used, the speakers that are the one destination in the setup I'm using start humming horribly.

Very compact, does the job, feels expensive for what it is though!
Very compact little unit, lets you share a set of speakers with two devices, or alternate a device between perhaps some speakers and some headphones etc. It's fine, but can't help but feel at £20 it's very expensive - for this sort of money you can get an HDMI switcher with a remote control and more inputs, so feels a bit mad to pay this much for something that is so much less complicated - I guess this is a bit more niche!I tested it with my headset and it does fully support TRRS headsets with microphone, although I would caveat that using this type of connection inevitably comes with a degree of crosstalk - so your microphone will pick up what you are listening to - and it tends to be worse the longer the lead/the more connections involved. That's not particularly the fault of this device though! There is a bit of pop on the connection when you switch between the inputs or press the mute button, which might be less than ideal if you are using this in a professional capacity of some kind, but fine for home use.Otherwise can't fault the functionality, but I'd maybe hold on for it to go on sale!

Easy installation
Having ordered a bluetooth 3.5 mm receiver so I could play music from my phone through my Sony iPod Nano docking station I then decided that it would be a bonus if I could also connect my PC to my dock at the same time. This small piece of kit allowed me to do this very easily. It can be configured in two ways, either having two inputs to one outputs or conversely one output to two inputs. My set up required the former so my phone and PC (inputs) connected to my speaker (output) but equally you could have a phone (output) connected to speakers and wired headphones. On this item there are just two control buttons, one selects between channel 1 and channel 2 whether they be inputs or outputs. The second button is a 'mute' button to cut off the sound output. There's no need for any power supply which is what makes it really useful. The quality of the sound is not compromised by using this item, I found reproduction very good with little if any loss.Verdict: Great piece of kit although the price is a little on the high side for my liking.

Funciona bien
