The only screen protector you'll really need
After trying a comparatively priced ZAGG invisibleSHIELD for iPad 2/iPad 3/iPad 4 (Screen only) for months, which did protect the screen but created visible artifacts and was starting to peel off, I decided to go with the Moshi, which is probably not only the easiest iPad screen protector to install ever, but also the best out there in terms of clarity. Nothing to wet up or apply to the iPad other than the protector itself, which comes in a single, stiff piece. Just align with the buttons on your iPad, press around the sides and you're set. Unlike other protectors, the Moshi removes nothing of the Retina display experience - in fact you can barely notice it is there. Maybe it even enhances it, if that's possible. It *does* have a grid pattern display when seen from certain angles, but it is mostly visible when the iPad is turned off and honestly it doesn't bother me when it's on, as is virtually invisible when the iPad is held straight up front (as is used most of the time). I use it along with my Speck Products FitFolio case with no problems whatsoever. The protector itself, however, is not scratch-proof. Some tests I did while using a HEX3 JaJa Pressure Sensitive Stylus (as I use the iPad as a drawing pad) did yield some light scratches but those were mostly due to me applying excessive pressure on the stylus. I fixed the Jaja's response later using a thermal paste hack and now it performs flawlessly on the iPad with the Moshi XT on. At least the scratches remain on the protector and not the iPad. However I think that with careful, normal daily use scratches can be kept to a minimum specially if you are using an iPad case together with the protector. (I just had to reorder another Moshi XT so I can be more careful this time). In short: While the Moshi costs a few more bucks than the alternatives, the fact that it is 100% Retina display-friendly and dead simple to install makes it a winner for me. I just wished it were more resistant to light scratches.

Best one I've tried
I hate screen protectors. But apparently I hate iPad screens more because I've successfully managed to get a deep scratch in every one I've owned. My iPad was just replaced by Apple under warranty and this time I decided to keep the screen protected. I've always hated screen protectors so I did a lot of research. I couldn't justify the cost of the glass SPIGEN, so decided to try this one.Overall, I'm very happy. Considerably happier than I have ever been with a screen protector. It's not perfect, but it's darn close.First of all, the biggest pain with screen protectors is applying them. The iVisor shines here; I got it on in about a minute. The protector is rigid plastic so it's easy to get it in the right position. Also, there are no bubbles to worry about and they give you a microfiber cloth to clean the screen. The plastic doesn't degrade the image on my 4th gen iPad's retina display under normal use. If you shine a flashlight on it, you can see a grid of dots, but under normal room lighting they aren't visible. if you hold it at a steep angle with the display off, you can also see a bit of a rainbow pattern reminiscent of what oil looks like when it's mixed with water. However at a normal viewing angle with the display on, this also isn't particularly noticeable. The iPad screen response is just as good with the iVisor as it is bare, although the plastic doesn't feel as good as the native glass. But I expected that.My biggest complaint would be that the edges around the home button are sharp. As I said, this protector is made out of a rigid plastic so there is noticeable thickness. I wish the edges could've been tapered a little more but it's not a deal breaker.I would recommend this item to people looking to protect their iPad glass. The ease of installation alone was worth the steep price.

Almost awesome, instead pretty close.
I received the "Moshi iVisor Screen Protector XT Crystal Clear for The New iPad" and I was scared at first. It appeared to be just a normal screen protector and I was not going to be happy with that. It was not stiff like glass, instead it was like thin lexan. Well it went on the phone very easily, and yes there are no bubbles. I would say that it works better after a couple days than it does at first, it seemed like it still had a lot of air trapped underneath it for the first couple days and now a week later it works very well and isn't so sticky. My stylus now works on it, where it would get stuck on the surface the first couple days. This screen protector is non-invasive, does not prevent the use of most screen protectors, and will likely not inhibit any of the magnetic functionality of various cases as it is very very thin (though admittedly I haven't tried it with my Targus case as I switched to an M-Edge case). Is it as clear as no protector? no, but it is about as good as it currently gets while giving you excellent screen protection.

The perfect screen protector
Before buying the Moshi ivisor for ipad, I went through over 10 different screen protectors. Generic brand, MediaDevil, Snugg, you name it. None of them worked because they all left air bubbles and a LOT of frustration. The problem with other screen protectors is that the iPad is a large surface to cover, so air bubbles will almost always get trapped.Moshi's ingenius solution is to leave a tiny space between the sheet and the iPad, effectively creating one large universal air bubble (which you wont see obviously because it's the size of the entire screen), so it is literally impossible for any further air bubbles to appear. The sheet also has tiny perforations that help to equilibrate between the space and the outside, so if you do get any "bubbles", they will disappear naturally.Add to that the ease of applying the screen protector to your iPad through the use of a hard frame, and you've got a product that truly works.I've bought one for every iPad I've bought. It's one of those essential accessories that really does the job.

Excellent, if a little pricey!
It's all said in the title... It is a really great screen protector and you will struggle to find one better - it is just a little on the expensive side though. Still, £30 to protect a near £600 iPad is perhaps a relatively small price to pay?
