After 4 days, it did not do a thing for me. Had to revert back to the trusty Ducolax. Does dissolve well, no taste. Too bad it didn't work...Update: My doctor suggested taking a higher dose per day for the first week. Well it finally did work. Now i take 2-3 caps a day with lots of water. Seems to be working

This is great makes me poop all the time which is really saying something for me. I get so constipated I don’t go for 3 to 4 days after one dose of this stuff, just slides right out :) you don’t even notice the taste when you mix with juice . Wish it came in a pill form for travelling that’s only downside .

This is a fantastic product for people with constipation problems, in my case because I am nearly immobile, things do not move along as they should and cause a huge blockage. My doctor suggested I take this and in the beginning, I took several doses a day but now I take a dose every other day and that keeps things moving. I take the product in a cup of hot water, it dissolves easily and is clear, tasteless and odorless. Than you.

Not to sound too crazy, but I use this for my cat. He's 17 and has had hard stool problems all his life. Always a little stiff and uncomfortable. After he had a blockage the vet recommended 1/8 to 1/4 a tsp of this once a day, and bam. He's more wiggly and cuddly, and definitely happier. His stool have been hard but not too hard, and he doesn't notice it in his wet food at all. It is not a stimulant and therefore is not habit-forming, so it's nice to know that we're not directly changing his intestinal function.On a human note, I have used it a bit myself when I m feeling uncomfortable, and it works slowly with no drawbacks as you'd get from excessive fibre or a stimulant.

Restoralax is simply polyethylene glycol, an osmotic laxative. Used to buy this product from my pharmacy as a no name generic pharmaceutical at a third of the price. Now it's in a colorful container with a fancy name and the price has tripled. Same product, but "pretty" costs triple. And, of course, the simple, behind-the-counter version is no longer sold to consumers. If you can swallow the price, swallow the product if you need to. It works.
