She and a friend of hers that has it also both say that it is a good book that is well writen and informative. It is hard to find in stores and was 5$ more expensive than new for the only used copy we could find at the half priced store. If your AP child will read it and use it buy it for them while their brains are thirsty sponges!

We bought this book for our high school daughter. This book was recommeded by her AP World History teacher as an additional and even superior resourse to the book they use in class. My son says this book is well written and enjoyable to read. He is spouting interesting history facts to me all day. Maybe not your typical response but he's quite critical of boring history writing, so I think this one must be well written and from what he says, it includes a lot of interesting historical details that keep him tuned in.
