I just needed one male/female piece, but this multipack was cheap and now I have an extra! Probably not name brand quality, but it sounds just fine for my use and works great!

For the price of these, they are metal and very high quality. It was a must have for me to put in my karaoke bag for different speaker hookups at various gigs. The sound quality is normal as you would expect from a comparable $25 adapter. Plus side is, you get 2 sets of male and female!

I use these between my pedal board and my amp cuz I use XLR from the board (to eliminate signal loss along the path). This adapter fits between the XLR cable and the 1/4” input. I have noticed 0 signal loss when compared to XLR direct into a board versus this adapter into the same board.The ends can become loose, however. The 1/4” end is threaded on and I have to check it for snug before use. The XLR end is held with a small set screw which also can work loose. Blue LockTite would probably fix it permanently, but rather than take it apart, I just maintain it with any other gear needing a look-see after a show. You will probably have to do something similar with this adapter or it will eventually fail on you.

doesn't work with yeti pro condenser mic into a two channel phantom power block into a mixer that doesn't have phantom power for individual channels which is a minor bummer lol. I bought both these and TRS Females to XLR Males and my guess is that most 2 or 3 extra connection workarounds like this (complicated in other words) are not likely to work with these adapters, they are fairly cheap so I'd throw them in if you want to give it a shot, this kind of thing will always be useful at some point in my opinion and is a good addition to a collection of audio cables. It's probably always better to have the actual cables but if you end up doing side projects they could come in handy.
