Dangerous and disappointing
Ordered for my puppy as she loves yak chews. First issue was it coming broken in the packaging. We thought we’d still give it a go as I could’ve misread how many bits it was meant to be. Gave her one of the bigger bits and she broke it in one bite. We took it away immediately as this posed a choking hazard. Really disappointing and dangerous.

My dog loves it but it sounds like they are breaking their teeth.
Fuzzl Yak Chews for Dogs offer a unique and long-lasting treat option for your furry friend. These premium chews, made from Himalayan yak milk and infused with a delightful strawberry flavor, provide a natural and nutritious alternative to traditional dog treats. The 2-pack of 140g chews offers good value, especially for smaller dogs who can enjoy them over multiple sessions. Our Shiba Inu absolutely adores these yak chews, eagerly gnawing away for extended periods. However, there's one notable drawback: the sound produced when they're biting on the chew is quite unsettling. The loud, crunching noise can be nerve-wracking, often making you worry that your dog might be breaking their teeth. While it's just the nature of the hard chew and not actually harmful, the sound might be off-putting for some pet owners. Despite this auditory concern, the chews have proven to be a hit with our dog and seem to keep them happily occupied for hours.

Not a fan of the strawberry!
So far (2 days) my dog Tilly hasn't been interested in this strawberry yak chew at all, she has licked it and even carried it around...but not attempted to chew on it. I don't know if it is the "bonehead" tool putting her off (see rest of review for details) or just that she is not a fan of the sweet flavour, but she has previously enjoyed the standard flavoured ones. It is a shame because they are not cheap, but I'm sure I can give these to my mother-in-law's dog to try so they don't get wasted! I also purchased the "bonehead" tool for piece of mind because I was concerned about her choking once the chew got smaller (something that almost happened with her first yak chew). However, she seems confused by it and I am wondering if this is contributing to her being put off the whole chew, so if a new flavour doesn't help I may try removing the tool!(If you are unsure what I'm talking about, there is a choking hazard when the chew becomes small enough to be swallowed whole. To combat this you can either buy a small locking tool which you place the chew inside and lock in place. Or, alternatively, you can simply monitor your dog whilst they eat the chew and take it off them when it becomes a danger. No waste either, just soak the remaining chunk of chew in water and microwave [please read the proper instructions before doing this] to create a safe "puff" treat. I like the packaging, and the chew is a goregous colour too, also very easy to see if your dog like mine enjoys hiding toys/chews in the grass. Price is steep, but around average for this type of dog treat. They do last ages (when the dog eats them lol) and I do like that you can make the little Puff treat with the remaining chunks. Shame she hates the flavour! I'll probably try a new one and then if she really hates it I won't bother with these again.
