Very well built but some issues.
I like the build of the bag but it definitely doesn't hold a 13 inch laptop well. In my case an MacBook air 13. I will fit only in the rear ccw compartment very tightly I would worry about the corners of the laptop getting banged as it is just nylon between it and tge outside. In the center compartment made to hold a laptop it will not zip shut with one in let alone inside the sleeve designed to carry it. I like it but you should be aware of the sizings if you plan to purchase it for carrying a computer around. Your ccw pocket definitely won't carry both.

Awesome, smaller EDC solution.
This is my fourth Vertx bag and as with my previous three, I am very happy with the overall construction, layout, materials and functionality this bag provides.Being a smaller bag is great for me since it forces me to distill down my daily carry items to the essentials. I am prone to over provisioning and end up with a needlessly heavy EDC bag. The layout of this bag is simple and clean. It will easily hold a tablet, your EDC CCW, and plenty of other items for your daily needs. The interior is mostly loop velcro allowing you to customize the interior layout to your exact needs, which I have become very accustomed to.With a little practice you can have some pretty good draw times, not quite as fast as on body carry, but close. Train, train and then train some more. The main compartment has a surprising amount of room for your incidentals. The dual carry options is a nice feature, though my carry time will almost certainly be in the satchel configuration. The CCW compartment easily hold my EDC rig, 2 mags and a flashlight.Overall this is another win from Vertx. Bombproof construction, well laid out and touch as nails. Highly recommended.

Bigger than I expected and AWESOME!
I REALLY like this bag. It is well made, and the materials used are top notch. This is a bag that is going to last you a long time. I thought it was going to be smaller, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was larger than expected. I am always looking for something that will allow me to easily carry and access my CCW, and this bag does that. The rapid access tab makes it easy to get to it if it is needed. You can even move the tab if you would rather have it elsewhere. The strap on the bag is easy to adjust, allowing it to easily be carried multiple ways. The loop lining makes this perfect for carrying things that need to stay where I put them. It seems to be high quality material and I am not having any issues with changing things out, the material still looks great. This bag is large enough to hold my MacBook Air, which is awesome! I like the molded foam on the back side. It offers some protection to what I am carrying and helps the bag hold its shape against the weight of my CCW. I really haven’t found a more solid tactical bag that is also great for everyday use. I highly recommend this tactical sling bag, and you can bet I will be keeping my eye on Vertx products in the future.

Great bag. Compact yet capable. High quality
Build Quality:The bag is good quality and well made. The fabric is durable. The zippers are VERY robust and very easy to actuate. The stitching and construction is excellent. I am very impressed with the quality.SizeThe size is great for small items, phone , keys, pens, tablet, chargers, wallet and other EDCs.Carry methodsThere are two methods to carry the pouch including a shoulder strap and wrap around strap that can be used to convert to a chest rig-like bag.Secure and accessible Main CompartmentThe main compartment has large lockable zippers, dual zippers than can be used for side access.Micro loop organizer (Tactigami) panelsThere are micro loop panels on both the main and front compartment that can be used updated/customized with various straps.Use:I really like this size of this bag. Its great for holding all my EDC gear especially when I'm out in about in shorts or light clothing or I just don't want the extra bulk. I think the messenger carry method is great, the chest rig isn't the best because the should strap pulls on my neck however it is very convenient to be able to convert to a chest rig when It is needed.

disappointed overall; this bag does not seem very tactical
I was disappointed in this sling bag overall. It has a several design flaws. It is advertised as a tactical sling bag, but its tactical features are not very functional or well designed. It does have a removable admin panel that is able to be removed and placed in a different position or area. It works decently for a knife and is securely attached to the bag. I honestly had trouble distinguishing where the CCW compartment was. It is a velcro compartment in the back compartment of the bag. The back compartment has a 'rapid access pull tab' that is minimally helpful in getting the compartment open in a moment of need. The CCW compartment housed my Walther PPS 9mm pretty well but it barely fit my Kimber 1911. I use an Uncle Mike's holster on both pistols, and the compartment did hold to them well to prevent the pistols from moving around in the compartment. That being said, drawing my pistol was still more of a pain then I would expect from a 'tactical' bag. I am a seasoned gun owner and know how to draw a pistol properly. The design of the bag's rapid access tab and the CCW compartment just isn't the most functional. It is very hard for me to properly draw my gun from the compartment which is the main draw of the bag in the first place. On top of that, the laptop compartment is not protective in the least. There is no padding to speak of. The carrying strap is minimal and unpadded which was also a disappointment. Also, something to note, Vertx offers accessories for separate purchase that would make the bag more tactically effective, but kind of a bummer to have to make a separate purchase to do so. Ultimately, I won't be using this bag for tactical anything, but it would be an okay EDC bag for my basics like phone, keys, and other small necessities.
