VAUDEPoncho

Great product!
This rain poncho works great for biking. You can fit a backpack under it. You have to wear it under your helmet. I love the neon yellow color for visibility in the rain. The see through side panels allow for better peripheral vision.

Nice Poncho but not for biking
This poncho is of high quality; however, the hood is not large enough to cover a bike helmet and I bought this poncho to wear for biking.

Order down a 1/2 size, accept some compromises, but it's great!
I ordered the XL and it is a bit too big on me, it flaps around a bit more than I would have liked. I am 6'6" and 210lbs and didn't want to risk the L being too small to cover the handlebars. The XL does work for me and does cover my handlebars and hands but I wish I ordered the L. It is a little tricky to position correctly and keep hands covered, but it does work. In fact for just a thin sheet of material with no elastic at the front, I am surprised that it stays as well in place as it does. The hood fits well under my helmet and I wear a balaclava under it. It is pretty comfortable this way. The hood has a small "bill" that actually does a pretty good job keeping water off my glasses. Not perfect, but pretty good. I don't really use the "arm holes", I stay fully covered under the poncho.I like the idea of a poncho on the bike because it keeps my legs dry and I don't have to wear rain pants, which I hate. Also keeps my brooks saddle dry which the rain pants don't do. Plus it's really fashionable to wear :DUnfortunately there are a few annoying things about wearing a poncho on the bike. If it's windy, it acts like a sail somewhat and you get blown around. Between my arms near the handlebar, sometimes water pools up here which might be because I got a size too big. I just straighten it out to get it to flow off. It is difficult or impossible to use hand signals when wearing the poncho, especially if you use the hand loops inside. Also if you have a light mounted to your handlebars, the poncho will cover it. So you need to find another place to mount your light if you want full handlebar coverage. Also getting the water bottle, or seeing what gear you are in become sort of impossible. BUT! You are riding in the rain and not getting wet! So it's hard to complain too much.
