The strong nylon webbing is chew resistant and is designed to conform to a bird's physique. The harness underwent 18 months of testing on numerous parrots of all sizes. He kept trying to remove it himself. He was miserable the entire time it was on. We removed it and the next several days, he's plucked out his feather. We regret even trying it on him. We did watch some videos prior to purchasing and it seems some birds will be ok with it.
