Shure...er...sure my expectations were high and...
The media could not be loaded. ...this mic did not disappoint. I purchased 3 of these to use for podcasting.I have worked in/around mics for decades (from radio dj and event emcee, to hosting seminars, workshops, and professional voice-over work across North America), but have never used this mic. Was looking to stay within a budget and reviewed dozens of prospects. This one seemed to fit the bill and has not disappointed. The sound quality is better than expected. The build quality seems solid. The packaging was simple, accessible, and strong. I'll put these through the wringer in the coming months with a traveling podcast and will update this review should I find them to be less than reviewed so far.

Sounds great on my Mixer
I use mine on a used Mackie Mixer - Works super! I got the Gator flexible stand for mine that clips on a desk.

Amazing
This is an amazing microphone! The sound quality is amazing and something i would expect from a mic that cost double of what this did.

need to be close to the mic
I have mixed feelings about this mic. Like others have said it is very quiet and hard to hear, the audio waveforms are really small during recording so if doing a voice over for any project you may have to increase the volume or gain in post production. If you have your mouth right next to the mic you can get a clean sound but it still can below, if you have any distance between your voice and the mic it will be hard to hear and your waveforms will be very small. I had my mixer levels turned all the way up just to get small waveforms but for my projects this just doesn't work especially if I have someone who talks softer. If you are able to talk right up on the mic you might be ok or like this mic but for the price I expected it to not be so quiet.
