Could I use this to wrap a wound from cutting out mistletoe? I want to prevent it from growing back.

It is supposed to protect the wound, but I don’t believe it will inhibit growth

how does it work? Will it be enough for a 2.5' diameter tree?

There is plenty of sticky in this tub and lots of band

Do you think this will work to stop Lantern Flies?

I don’t think so. In my case this work very well stopping ants.

Is there enough sticky to cover 50 feet of paper or do I have to buy over and over and over again

There's enough sticky. Just put on an thin layer about an inch wide. Don't cover the whole paper. Also run a strip of duct tape above & below the paper otherwise it falls off in the rain. It does work though
