I was a bit excited about getting this, one of the hardest things to do in golf is putt. Anybody can put in a straight line on a level surface, the hard part is being able to read a green. First of all this does what it's meant to do, it's a level and it does that perfectly. The problem is that it is really not that useful. Unless you lay it down every few feet along your putt line you only get a read on a very small piece of green. A great product that does it's job perfectly but, for me, just isn't useful or practical.

It’s a bit chintzy/gimmicky, but a fun little gift for a golfer who already seems to have everything. It’s basically just a multi-directional level…could be used for leveling things if able to lay on a flat surface, as well.

I ordered this as a stocking stuffer for my husband. I don’t know if he will even use it as a green reader, but he might use the ball marker. I actually think he will put it in his office as a nice conversation starter. It is well made and looks much more expensive than it is. The small bubble works as a level but as far as I can tell, it only measures the ground you put it on. It did not come with instructions but it is in a very nice gift box. I’m not sure if it’s actually useful, but it will make a nice small gift.

I don't even want to give this a star! The spelling is incorrect on "Break right" it says Break Ringt" how embarrassing to give as a gift!!

I loved this! Worked how I wanted and I love the gold and how it looks. Very high end and looks nice.

I received the product in decent condition until I flipped the coin and the back was scratched and messed up. Although, the product works as mentioned.

I really love this marker. It has some good weight to it. It has a clip for your belt/pocket/golf bag that magnetizes to the marker. The writing is clear and easy to read and the colors are vibrant and set well. It is very well made. I don't golf, but it seems to read the layout of the ground with slope and levelness very well. I got it for my brother who is a golf nut. I think he's going to love this and I am well pleased with it. I have seen lots of products like this that don't offer as much or as great a quality for much more money. Great price and value. I recommend and would get it again.

These things started popping up in my recommendations as I'm an avid golfer. Obviously these things wouldn't be legal for the pros, but for us amateurs I think it can help get reads on those subtle breaks. Of course many of our putts will have multiple breaks, so you'd need to place this at or in between each transition to read the entire series of breaks. It's a bit large to wear on my hat, and I'm also not sure I'd want other random golfers to see me displaying this tool so blatantly, so I keep it in my bag and really just use it to help confirm my reads once in awhile and to maybe gauge those tricky subtle reads. Cool product overall, and for the beginner golfers I think this would be a great tool.
