Great simple product, does the job well.
I’ve used more complex valved products that ended up failing or not accomplishing the main goal. For me, I’m running a larger generator off Propane and the tank tends to freeze and slow gas flow causing the engine to die. This kit allows flow to come from 2 or more tanks at once, reducing the flow from each tank. This prevents them from freezing and lets me empty the tanks without the flow being restricted causing the engine to be starved for fuel. Buy using more than one kit, you can even link more tanks and increase uninterrupted run time. I use an adapter to QCC1 devices as this kit is POL. My QCC1 two tank kit often fails when the valves get stuck, recommend this kit over those.

Great Product!
Used a pair of these to hook up two 100lb bottles of Propane that I've hooked up to a whole house backup Generac generator. These have worked great so far...with the longest power outage at 13 hours. These are high quality....Simple in design and simple to install. Beauty of it all, is the fact that if I wanted to add a third or fourth 100lb bottle, all I would need to do is just buy one or two more of these(one for each additional bottle)!!! All the bottles hooked up on these kits will simply self-level in pressure once you open up all the bottle valves, so the bottles empty slowly and equally.

Works perfectly to run two 100lb tanks for propane generator.
Purchased two 100 lb tanks for a generator after the second hurricane in three years. I like to keep them mobile in case I ever need to use them somewhere else. It was too much of a pain to run around and try to find more non-ethanol gasoline every two-three days when the whole town is already going crazy. This setup allows me to have almost a weeks worth of propane when the power goes out. The dual tank setup prevents the freezing problem experienced from the single tank setup. The price here was $10 cheaper than my local hardware store. Will purchase again if ever needed.

Lots of Misinformation on these Reviews for this Product!
I'm seeing lots of misinformation about this product written within the reviews here. The brass connectors are all heavy duty, or thick brass/metal.The hose seems extremely thick and heavy.I *HATE* flare connections and prefer NPT connections! Too many problems in the past, with solid oil fuel, not to mention using flare connectors for gas. However, I think I'll like the rubber o-rings, likely providing a leak-free connection.Just with the hose was a little longer, but also found the following for possibly extending the connection. I only needed, at most, another couple of feet.Mr. Heater 5 Foot Propane Appliance Extension High Pressure Hose 1/4 Female Pipe Thread x 1/4" Male Pipe ThreadStamped on the hose:FLEX-TECH 1/4" RPF-4 LP GAS HOSEMAX WP 350 PSI / NAT GAS 1 PSI

Hose and tee
Reasonable set-up for interconnecting propane tanks. You obviously need tanks that are virtually the same height since the 30 inch hose can only reach that limited distance between them. The POL connections work on all tanks, yet some like the large acme threads on the OPD tanks which may force you to buy an adapter to come out of this. I'm showing a couple 20 lbs tanks with this connecting them and a regulator hooked up for those needing show & tell (one shot shows a acme thread regulator with an adapter, the others show POL units and hopefully the layout shows the differences). Also note, some have reported issues like not getting gas flow thru hoses with POL connections. A reason behind that may be that the POL threads must not only be screwed in to the tank so it feels tight, but you must go another full turn past "finger tight" to open a "safety valve" in most tanks (with OPD valves). So don't just go finger tight and call it good on the tank connection, but go a bit more even if it means using a wrench to insure that valve gets open and you have gas flow.

Priced well and works great.
Used this during the winter for work on flat roofs. Using a propane torch, especially in colder weather you lose pressure. The splitter works well for my needs.

Good accessory.
Item works as described. Allows for easy setup of two tanks in series. In order to improve setup, I'd recommend adding a shut off valve on each side of the T being hooked to your tanks. That would allow for filling tanks individually while keeping the gas flowing from the remaining tank.
