Been using this product for about 20 years
Citrucel works extremely well. The proctologist that recommended it said use this specifically not the other products on the market. I don't remember why but he was right on the money. A friend of mine since kindergarten who I turned onto Citrucel refers to it as "the boys in the packaging department." Your bowel movements will not only make you smile they will provide photo opportunities and make you stand up and cheer. And yes, most of the time you can stand up and cheer because you may not even require toilet paper.

This is delicious and a little treat despite its medicinal properties. Please note that I found out through unfortunate experience that the Citrucel pills, which were all I could get in my pharmacy, were not an exact equivalent and proved irritating to my system, presumably because of one of the supposedly inert ingredients. (I had also previously found the sugar free drink irritating.) Returning to the admittedly sugary powder reversed the problem entirely and returned me to my pleasant ritual of a tasty drink to use to take my morning vitamins and medicine. A good choice especially for people who have gluten sensitivity or an allergy to wheat but desire a fiber supplement.
