Sound+Sleep Se Special Edition Sleep Sound Machine, Real Non-Looping Nature Sounds, White Noise Machine

I purchased as a stop gap until my Bose sleepbuds was replaced .I wasn't really sure if it would be what i needed ,but i required something to plug the gap as i have become 100% reliant on sleeping aids .I was surprised to how effective it was i blocking out noise from the the neighbours and street when i was asleep .I would recommend this to anyone who needs a sleeping aid or something for relaxing for what ever reason , the other reviews are very positive on the whole .Must say It is not noise canceling ,it mask's noise meaning it blocks out noise with the noise you have created with your unit , and does a great job .And remember it will take a little time adapting to new way of sleeping or relaxing it is a little strange at first but if you give it time you will hopefully get to grips with it and see the benefit .

I bought this machine just over a year ago. I live in a flat that can have a lot of intrusive noise at night. This machine has helped a lot. The function that makes sounds become louder or quieter depending on the noise level around the machine has been particularly useful. When I had the machine just shy of a year one of the sounds stopped working. I was sent a replacement part without quibble. All communication was swift and when the replacement part did not resolve the problem I was sent a replacement machine. I have rarely if ever had such good customer service.

Overpriced, the amount of different sounds is just a con, it just adds barely discernible additional sounds to the loop. First one I had stopped working after 5 months. Got a replacement, that lasted less than a week before it stopped working, got a refund.

Superb little piece of technology. Thought I would like the sound of water best but in fact I love brown noise and it does help feel sleepy. Before buying, unsure if it was worth paying the extra for this machine but delighted with it and I know I will use it a lot. I liked the idea of it not repeating as I would find that irritating. I also find it useful that you can switch the lights off and listen to it in complete darkness - find that particularly conducive to promoting sleep. It's a little gem!Very happy to recommend this model.

It does what I expected and the sounds do distract from the permanent hum I experience here.I would like to have had a 3-pin plug instead of the stupid 2-pin that is loose in an adaptor. For the expense, I would expect a proper 3-pin UK plug.

Non returnable item, I am unsure why as I have returned other noise machines with no problem, a little disappointed with the machone, each sound category, say for instance rain, is standard rain, add thunder. Add more thunder, add other sounds, they are basically all the same sound with a slight difference, I was expecting different types of rain, heavy rain, light rain, rain hitting tent etc would not buy again, luckily anazon made an exception for me to return as this is not cheap for a sound machine
