STURDY, WELL-MADE, PRODUCT
I was a little skeptical based upon past pressed-wood furniture purchases. This is a phenomenal product! I enjoy mechanics and building widgets, so this was an easy project. Out of the box, all pieces were there (what a joy!), and matched up against the provided schematic that came well-packaged. There were even a few hardware extras, which was a wonderful touch! I would much rather have more than not enough.I spread everything out on the kitchen floor and had it all built in an hour, roughly. I had no issues with missdrilled holes, cross-threading or alignment. The hardware is all heavy and seemingly well-made. There are tools provided within the package of hardware. A very nice touch are the soft-close hinges for the doors. There was a slight misalignment of the doors that was corrected by adjusting the hinges. In my experience with cabinetry, this is a normal. This purchase was for a 10-gallon shrimp tank. It is a sturdy, very nice-looking piece. There is ample storage behind the doors for all things aquarium including a pre-drilled hole for cording should a pump be utilized. It is quite functional including an open area beneath the doors. The 10-gallon tank fit well on top with just enough surface to provide a slight edge. Gray was on sale, so gray it is! The color is very nice providing a somewhat muted, antique barnwood, look. The black metal to gray pattern is a lovely contrast. I do not know if it is scratch resistent, but I would take measure to protect the surface as you build. I had a big towel on the floor atop vinyl just to be safe because you will be sliding, flipping pieces as you put it all together. If you build it on a carpeted floor, there should be no issues. Would definitely buy this product again.

Good quality
Really decent stand that is sturdy and stable. I think the design looks good and I love that there’s a shelf on the bottom where I could add a plant and grow light. The wood-look print is pretty good. There are a few areas where it looks like the print had smudged, but it’s just part of the design I think. The doors are on a hinge that makes them close slowly which is fine because they don’t slam and disturb the fish. I have a 5.5 gallon on the stand which fits perfectly. I like that there is an edge around the tank because it feels less likely to fall off. I do have 2 complaints. The size of the hole for cords in the back is VERY small and was hard to fit a surge protector plug-in through. The other complaint is that it was really difficult to set up. The directions start simple then one page was incredibly hard to decipher. I’m giving 5 stars for a stand at this price point for the good quality and stability.

Nice stand for 10 gallon or smaller tank.
just big enough for a 10 gallon tank on top shelf with smaller tank, plant or display on bottom shelf. Easy assembly, I put it together alone in less than 45 mins.

Color not as described
Let me start with what I liked. The parts were very well marked! The instructions were pretty clear. There was one piece that had to go a certain way, but you couldn’t tell from the instructions, so we put it backwards and now I am worried that the integrity of what part is compromised. It seems well made and is pretty. Now for the not as good parts. A couple times when tightening screws (by hand) the wood cracked a little. I was not using much force. The screws take THREE different types of tools (all included) which is frustrating when you are holding pieces and ready to turn the screwdriver or Allen wrench (2 different sizes) just to realize that screw takes a different tool. The width and height are off by 1/2 and 1 inch from the sellers description/item specs. Although the instructions were good, there were no words to explain anything. Just pics. The part I am mostly upset with is the fact that the color was listed as grey and this is NOT grey. It is more of a light/medium oak color. My whole living room (and my office e at work) is decorated in different shades of grey furniture and this is not the same color as one single other piece of grey furniture. I can’t change it now because I needed it right away and I am also not finding another that I like much. Eventually I am going to have to move this super heavy aquarium AGAIN when I find another stand that is actually the color I needed. I kind of hate this because it doesn’t match.

Great!
Very sturdy aquarium stand. Extra reinforcement with metal bars under the top and bottom shelves. Not too bad to put together. Doors were not hard too attach and fit well. Hardware itemized well with an extra or two of each item. Took me about 2 1/2 hours to put together, but I work slowly. Directions were good with pictures only.
