Great Product
We use this product almost on a daily basis for our customers boats. Very easy to install. Performs excellent and with the right maintenance, like all coatings, it performs and last as advertised for us. Following directions and you will have no issue installing. To the reviews that say it’s difficult to apply, you clearly are just using it wrong. We apply in direct sunlight on glass, metal, paint and gel coat with zero issues.Highly recommend this product

Very easy to apply!
The media could not be loaded. This kit comes with everything you need to get started. Just wash your vehicle, apply a few drops to the included microfiber and sponge. Apply in a crosshatch pattern. Buff dry after 30 seconds or so. Let cure for 24 hours. And then you're good to go. This stuff sheets water quicker than anything I've ever used before. I'm so happy that it's going to last a long time and I won't have to wax my car again!

Results are pretty good, but price is kinda high.
Saying results are pretty good might mean a 3 star rating to a lot of ppl, but I find that most products on the market are either useless or work decent. At least that's my opinion or maybe I've just not come across that amazing product yet. Anyways.. I've included a picture to showcase what the results were after quite a bit of rain. The picture is of the hood of my vehicle. I cleaned the entire thing thoroughly, buffed and polished it consistent with the instructions, and applied the ALPHA ceramic coat to ONLY the left half of the hood. Unfortunately I didn't quite get to 24hrs before rain exposure which may or may not have made a huge difference. The instructions indicate it can.. I'll let you be the judge of the attached pic. I did use a little bit of filtering to the image but mainly to enhance the ability to see the difference between the two sides. Due to the color of the vehicle, it's quite difficult to capture the results due to the mirror effect happening when trying to take pictures. With that said, the changes I made to the image only change it to the point where the results I witnessed in person are apparent and visible at least to some extent. Though, neither side is perfect after rain exposure, it is very clear that the side which was not treated with the product appears far dirtier and developed quite a bit of water spots. To me the product works well but it's expensive too. I feel like there are options that are more budget friendly and cost far less than this one, however I have to admit once again that this product is at a slight disadvantage due to the fact that the application process was not 100% followed and the treated area was exposed to rain which has been very unpredictable. Somehow every time I've prepped the surface to test the product, it ended up raining the very next day even if rain was not forecast. So with all that in mind.. I say it works well but like many other products, my experience wasn't something that managed to magically keep my car 100% clean and free of water spots.

Results Impressive So Far, Meticulous Prep Required
Let me first say that I have no experience with similar ceramic coatings, though I have waxed more than a few cars. The suggested prep to apply this product is fairly involved, but I did my best to prep my vehicle properly. For me this included a strip wash, meticulous regular wash, clay bar treatment, light compounding using cheapie orbital polisher, ashed again and finally applied Alpha coating according to directions. It's only a couple of days later now, so I can't comment on the claimed 5 years of protection, but the results of all that effort certainly made a big difference, water beads on the horizontal surfaces and slides mostly off of the vertical surfaces. Prep is laborious, but application of the ceramic coating is much quicker and easier than any wax product I've ever used. So, 1 week into the claimed 5 years of protection I'm very satisfied. The product costs more than traditional waxes, but is a bargain is it lasts even 25% of the claimed lifespan.

After months outside, it's still there
I applied this to a test panel before winter, and the spot I applied it to is still visible. It doesn't seem to perform quite like it originally did so I have doubts about "5 years protection," though. I've used three different ceramic coatings including this one, and I noticed that this has the most rainbow iridescence while being applied. I like this as an amateur because it helps me see if I've missed a spot or underapplied the coating while I still have time to fix it. Overall, I'm pleased with the results for this price. Based on my small long-term test patch, it was a bit easier to apply than the coating I tested it against and has held up slightly better over time.

Easily competes with the heavy hitters!
I have a plethora of automotive detailing products and tools, and a "must-have" for any vehicle of mine is a quality ceramic coating. I have been using Gtechniq products almost exclusively for over a decade, and while I have tried some other products that are marginally better, they often cost more than the price difference was worth. Being fortunate enough to score this through Vine made me eager to try it out, but many of the other "coatings" I've gotten through the program have been, well, mostly junk with the exception of a few others. Right away upon application (well, right away after spending *a lot* of time on paint prep, as you should with any coating), the way it applied and flashed over was exactly what I'm used to seeing on high-quality coatings, but with a slightly longer working time allowing me to do a whole panel at a time before before the final buffing. It applied cleanly with no high spots or "sticky" spots that didn't want to buff out.Overall, I'd say the raw coated paint was not *quite* as glossy as some of the other coatings that I've used, but still far glossier than most car's paint. However, when topped with a good sealant or wax, it looks just as good as anything I've ever tried. This makes it a terrific value, so long as it holds up as promised.
