Nice Enough But Not Natural Citrine
I’m going to start by saying I’m unwilling to give 5 stars due to the false advertising. This is NOT natural citrine but instead heat treated amethyst. Anyone that knows even just a bit about this stuff can see that. But for those that don’t, it’s not their fault and they don’t deserve to be swindled. That said, if you’re okay with heat treated amethyst and calling it citrine, it’s fine. The stones themselves are very nice. Small, as such rough often is but not too small. Lots of rainbows which is a strong selling point for this kind of stone. It’s lovely to look at. It tumbled really well too. It’s a quartz, took about two months, I didn’t really lose too much so the size of the finished product is still okay.My two older boys 5 and 11 are very happy with this as well. We pulled them from the tumbler this week and both were very pleased. Please note the photo of them in the basket with our other stones. Included are strawberry quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, and clear quartz. As you can see these stones are much smaller, but still hold their own.

Good sized stones
Bought this for the second time. Stones are a pretty good size.I intend to put them in a rock tumbler (which, FYI, WILL get rid of the "peacock" coloring and turn it back to gold). I did this before, but used too much grit and left it too long, and the stones were reduced to nothing. Going to try again though, running it for a lot less time and with minimal grit. After tumbling the stones to smooth them out a lot, I intend to dip them in nitric acid to get the coloring back. Hopefully I will get a nice rounded stone with bright colorful oxidation!
