Product Description Excellent objective indicators RED's research and development goal is completely readopted by TRUTHEAR and is based on ZERO's original excellent objective index. The non-linear distortion of RED is further optimized at higher sound pressure levels (>94 dB). The target curve of the frequency response has bass amplitude response characteristics similar to the general preference curve, while the target curve is adopted by CRINACLE IEF_Neutral in the frequency band above 1000 Hz. These features provide powerful bass without compromising the sound of higher frequency bands. Compared to ZERO, RED has comparatively lower dynamics, but still corresponds to the characteristics of HRTF, making RED very suitable for long listening without fatigue. The heights of RED are bright without irritating, producing a warm, natural and pleasant sound. Optimised processing technology Truthear not only strives for excellent objective measurements, but also attaches great importance to optimising and improving processing technology; the cavity of ZERO:RED is still a sandwich-like structure (front cavity, decorative plate and a few drops of glue for filling the seams). Pleasantly balanced sound. Punchy bass but not oppressive, the +10ohm adapter adds more bass for those who need it. Works well for the genres I tried: Folk Rock, Electronic, Hip Hop, Classical, etc. Comfortable with good long time listening comfort. The supplied tips are sufficient but you can probably buy others elsewhere. Overall well worth the money, performs on par with or surpasses my melomania 1+ from Cambridge audio on their neutral setting, with the benefit of also being wired.
