This is a really nice piece of furniture-now it is assembled. Although the diagrams were comprehensive a couple of verbal 'prompts for furniture assembly dummies' would have been a help i.e. Make sure you put B screws in at stage 2 before attempting stage 3! I spent about four hours in total putting it together in stages. All the pieces were well cut and screw holes matched up ok. I used a little wood glue to hold pieces 07 & 08 in place while putting screws in at stage 6. I would recommend this blanket box as very good value for money.

Similar to other reviews here. Once put together the box is great for the price, particularly compared to similar products available.However, putting it together caused 2 bruises, 2 tantrums and one argument with my boyfriend. They don't mention in the instructions that being extremely flexible would help considerably in putting this together as you're twisting screws in at some very jaunty angles that are difficult to get to.That aside, the effort is worth it (hindsight is a fine thing), so if you're willing to put in the sweat and tears, you'll get a good strong box at a great price!

Got home yesterday to find that OH had spent the afternoon building our new blanket box & I'm really pleasantly surprised by it.We've been looking at ones in shops & I reckon you'd pay about £250/300 for one as nice as this. It's very solid & feels like proper wood, unlike lots of cheaper ones we've seen.Just bear in mind that it took OH a while to build it & he's a builder, so pretty handy! Otherwise I'd unreservedly recommend it as a great value, decent quality item. For the price we paid, we're really pleased.

This is a great trunk, exactly what we were after. It looks good, is good quality and solid (you can sit on it safely!). We are using it as a toybox which we may double up as a coffee table.It says in the instructions it takes 50 min to construct, it took me about 2 hours but it’s worth the effort :-) One slight improvement suggestion - it would be easier if all the screw holes were pre drilled as it was quite hard to put some screws in. We love it though.

This is a really good finished product, good value for money, and fast delivery, however the instructions did say it would take 1/2 hour to put together When really it took us 1hr1/2. It would also have been helpful if there were pilot holes Ready in the wood. Overall very happy with this storage box which I'm using as a toy box

Once assembled this is a cracking piece of kit. However I read the reviews for this product some said easy to build some said almost impossible!Here's my view, the instructions have a couple of very mis leading diagrams which for the person who wants to follow it perfectly will get caught up. Overall it is quite simple and does not take a rocket scientist!The actual product is cheap in places which is strange because once it is built it looks far from cheap. Overall its 'ok' and would recommend as a baby toy chest .

Great trunk which matches perfectly with the vestry cupboard- both to go under the stairs for fantastic looking storage. Hall looks fantastic and clean and tidy with everything hidden away. Very pleased with quality and value as well.

We had a load of toys just hanging around the front room and it was looking a little cluttered so we decided to get a big toy box and this one is ideal!! We had a few problems with some of the pieces being warped, but eventually we managed to get all the pieces and build it. Fits everything in that we need it to and it fits in with our furniture that we already have in the front room. Nice solid box.
