FYI, please buy the condensed New England Clam Chowder instead of the regular one. Don't know why but the condensed version has much of a better flavor. All you need is to add some milk (how much depends how thin or thick the soup you desire) I am please with just to fill up one can size of milk to 2 cans of condensed chowder. That's my perfect ratio. Enough to share with your special person in your life. Happy wife happy life! Great value for the money cause these cans are hard to find. Amazon is the best that you can buy a case!

Just what I needed

The soup is great. I remember it as a kid. Did not appreciate the can coming with a dent. Amazon employees can do better in shipping.

Great condensed chowder

I am not giving this soup any stars. It is very thin and has no flavor. Looks like I.have to give it a star if I want the review to be submitted. No..STARS!

I bought the 13 pack of the New England chowder. For many years Snow's Condensed canned chowder in the can with the blue and white label was my favorite. I can't find it in the store any more and a single can on Amazon was over $7.00 so I bought this beige label-red printing chowder instead. High hopes.But it is quite a disappointment. Something about it tastes stale and it doesn't have the same clam flavor as the previous kind with the blue label. The recipe seems different. If you're going to try it buy a single can and go-no go from there. The Manhatten of this variety is better.

Hard to find in stores, recommend half can of milk not full can like directions
