We pitched our net at the beach and the flat plates on the poles prevented any sinking in to the sand and didn’t have to pause the fun to adjust.Absolutely love the colour and quality of the ball. OK, so the ball itself isn't league quality, but should hold up well if not left outside for extended periods - same with the net. I have spent more money on sets locally that were NOWHERE near as well-built as this one, so I am giving the overall package a solid 4 stars, leaning towards 5 other than the ball itself being definitely a "Home-Quality" ball.THAT said, a true quality, regulation volleyball can easily cost more than this whole set, so ...Overall, for a portable set to take on vacation or to use for a few parties a year, this is definitely as good as any I have seen at even 2X the cost - not a cheapie, throwaway and yet not a set You want to set up and leave outside all summer. If THAT is your plan, set a couple of 4X4's in the yard (around $50 with concrete and labor), spend $150 or so on a quality, wired net, $40-100 on a REAL ball and just set up the net in spring, take it down in the fall, and You will have an impromptu grass court for years.All in all, this is a SERIOUS bargain at the price, as long as You understand what it is.

I have not had a chance to set-up this net as it is winter time. My review is based on what I was able to see while unpacking the bag.All of the equipment feels solid. Sometimes these backyard volleyball sets have flimsy poles that bend easily or fall over. These poles are not like that. The net is the best quality I have seen in an affordable set. This set comes with boundary lines as well which is a plus. The ball feels OK but I won't know until we actually get to play.The volleyball trainer was the mystery to this set. I have not seen or used a trainer like this, and don't recall seeing one included in an outdoor volleyball set. So, it will be fun to try it out and see what it is all about.The other nice thing about this set is it comes with everything you need...even a mallet for getting the support spikes into the ground! And, it actually all fits in the bag!I am already looking forward to warmer weather when I can set-up this volleyball net and try it out! If there are any difficulties with set-up and I will update the review.

This setup comes with literally everything you need to setup and play wherever you are! This company has done their research! I got this when there was snow on the ground, so I haven't set it up outside, but everything looks great when setup inside! The poles are sturdy metal, so you don't have to worry about them being or bending in the wind. The net is weatherproof so it won't deteriorate or come apart if used at the beach. The ball is a nice quality and they even provide baselines and securing anchors. No more vague lines to play with. I'm honestly impressed they included a mallet to drive in the anchors, now everything you need is stored together so you won't have to remember a mallet or ball pump! It all easily fits in the carrying case when the ball isn't inflated and I believe it still will fit tightly when it is inflated. Seriously such good quality and I'm so excited to use it once the snow melts!
