Quiet, high capacity, works fine with my Mac Studio with Sonoma, Warranty
High capacity 14TB external drive, USB 3 which includes a warranty with 2 year rescue service if you have file corruption and need the files restored. It's very quiet and has a small footprint considering the large capacity. It mounted first time and I used Disk Utility to reformat it to Mac OS Extended (I don't need dual-system FAT format for Windows machines, I never use them). Then I partitioned it into four partitions of different sizes for video, data, graphics, and miscellaneous/backups.Working great, very happy with the performance, form factor, price, and warranty.

Seems like a quality drive.
Works as expected. Fast transfer on USB-C/USB 3.2 port.Seagate Diskwizard (Free backup utility) May not be copying all the partitions from my boot drive. I usually use my old free copy of Macrium Reflect, which will copy the non-standard partitions.

No On/Off switch
With the high cost of these drives you would think Seagate would include an On/Off switch instead of having to plug and unplug cables. Probably does not matter to most but to me it does. Performance is as expected, not too loud and overall a nice hard drive. I'm pretty sure having that switch would not break Seagates bank account.

Great Option for Plex Server Video Storage
I have a Plex Server at home that allows me to digitally access all my videos, photos and music. It's very handy but as you can imagine, storage can be an issue as video files especially eat up a lot of memory.I have a 5TB external hard drive but am starting to run out of space. I decided I needed a much bigger storage option and I bought this Seagate for it's size and the reputation of the brand.I have had good experiences with Seagate drives whereas some other brands have failed on me in an unusually short amount of time.I'm super happy with this Seagate drive so far. I saw one review that says it will not run on MacOS which is not true. That person must have simply received a defective product. I have 2 different MacBooks and have no problem mounting this drive to either laptop. The thing that is most impressive about this drive is how fast it is compared to my other external drives. It literally transfers files in about half to even 1/3 the time that it takes to move files onto my smaller 5TB drives. One review says that it is loud. I do find that it is louder than my external 5TB drives but it I wouldn't say that it is inordinately loud. It's a much bigger drive so you need to power it via an AC adaptor, unlike the smaller drives which are powered via the computer's USB port. But that should be expected for any drive that is bigger than 5TB.Overall, this drive is doing the job I need it to do. It's fast and it has plenty of storage to keep my Plex drive storage growing for probably another couple of years. My experience with Seagate drives gives me confidence that the drive will not fail before I need to explore replacing it with a drive of more substantial size.

Drive failed within 1 month, Data Recovery couldn't recover anything
Drive failed within 1 month of purchase, sent to Seagate data recovery who failed to recover anything! All our photos, videos of our son since birth gone!! Furthermore, when we asked for the drive to be returned from the lab to us to try recovery ourselves, they said they will return the drive but won't send us a replacement drive or refund the purchase! $200 lost, data lost. TERRIBLE, BEWARE
