Unusable soldering iron so so hot air
Giving 1 star because the iron will get red hot and is unusable the hot air side works but i have only used it a few times defeats the purpose of buying the combo

Okay for me.
Good starter soldering station for a hobbyist like me. Keeps temperature close to what is set at. The hot air gun/blower let me desolder smd components easily. The roll of the supplied solder wire is a joke though.

Woked to replace charge port on a circuit board
I purchased this item to have a hot air station and to replace a broken USB charge port on a circuit board. The station worked for my needs. It heated up fast to my desired settings. The station is not big and bulky which I like. I have used it around 10 times to do different projects and it has functioned without issue(s) for my needs.

Hot air unit works fine, but solder iron doesn’t have real temperature control
The media could not be loaded. The soldering iron does not have temperature sensor (see picture), only heating element is connected. The displayed “temperature” is far from real temperature. I set the temperature to highest value (500 degrees C), and adjusted the calibration to the max value (+99), the tip is still not hot enough to solder a T connector. I will return the station and buy a one having real temperature control. The hot air gun works fine.
