I bought this beater as a replacement for my old one that finally wore out and it is great. I like the silicone "flap" on the sides because it scrapes the side of the bowl. The price was competitive, too and it fits my Kitchenaid mixer perfectly.

Good for mixing that scrapes the bowl with each revolution. You'll still want to occasionally adjust the mixer settings so it scrapes properly.

I finally found a good replacement for my mixer! Baking here we come.

This double flex edged beater doors exactly as described. I have just begun using a Kitchaid stand mixer and I haven’t had to scrape my bowls at all!

Great! Wipes down the sides of the bowl, saving time and energy.

This does fit my artisan mixer but it sounds like a seal slapping its stomach for a fish at the aquarium when turned on. Maybe there’s a reason that the kitchenaid branded one only has 1 sided scraper. Would return this but it’s past my return time. I thought that I could lift my mixing head to fix it but after numerous times of trying, I’m giving up. Would not recommend you to buy this. Don’t waste your money and just get the branded one.

I wish I had this years ago when I first bought my mixer. Makes batter making easier.
