This is not the normal Mexican flower pot you usually find in local drug stores. This is clearly hand painted (just like flowers if they are too perfect, they might not be the real thing), nice, beautiful but with uneven lines here and there. The quality of the clay and the quality of the workmanship and the paint used are very good (not without blemish or perfect, but very good). You might not be able to see the raised dots with the pictures but the hundreds of small blue dots on the pot are not flat but raised up from the surface which makes this more 3D and more unique. After receiving this, my family gardener said that this was just too pretty and precious to put soil and plants inside and put it out in the garden. Well, it's for her (my beloved), so she can do with it however and whatever she wants. Seeing she's so happy with it is worth a lot more than what this nice quality, beautiful pot is listed for.

This beautiful pot arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I think it would hold up pretty good unless it is some Ace Ventura delivery service, I would expect it to arrive in one piece. The pot has a thick wall so as an 8" pot I would probably consider it a 6-inch pot as far as what I would plant in it.

Unless a manufacturer makes no effort to ship something that is fragile in a very careful way, and the item arrives broken, I try not to have that substantially effect the review of the item itself. But this vase planter was extremely well protected--and yet it arrived broken and felt very fragile to the touch, so the quality of the item, itself, I believe isn't very good.
