My wife and I wanted to try this game out before brining additional friends in on it for game night. It is listed as 2-6 players and historically, 2 player games are sometimes dull. The packaging was simple and small; perfect for setup. Basic instructions were sufficient, but there were included plastic pieces that I was unsure of the use-case. No mention of them in the instructions. Gameplay was not affected. Instructions are not complex. I imagine my 6-year old nephew could play with us without an issue. So, at first glance you will look at the simplicity and think "this game will be boring and short." Nothing could be farther from the truth. The questions were well thought out and had an unintended side effect of spawning GLORIOUS conversation with my wife. A simple "did you ever..." question turned into a playful game of "B.S., PROVE IT" or "Give me a specific example". It never felt too inquisitive where it caused conflict, but got us both laughing. The redemption questions had us cracking up as well. They were almost perfectly matched to where it went many rounds before one of us were even awarded the dreadful "Karen" advancement. No lie, the game lasted just over an hour and we ended up doing a sudden death round where the loser would not only become the Karen Supreme, but would also have to type this review. So, now you know. I "Lost" as I am the one penning this review. But, I don't have any negative feelings about this loss. The game was fun, the timeline was perfect, and most importantly I got to spend some QUALITY time conversing with my wife and reminiscing of sauciness past! Note to potential buyers: We removed 1 card from play. Not because my wife and I have an issue with it but we do hang out with couples that have a history of infidelity and\or trust issues. If you, or someone who may be playing with you has a history of infidelity (cheating) or trust issues with their spouse\partner I would recommend removing the card with "did you ever cheat" like we did. That way you don't have to worry about game night turning into Jerry Springer.

Such a fun and spicy game to play with friends! It’s perfect for a girls’ night or party — lots of laughs and just the right amount of sass. Definitely made for people who aren’t afraid to get a little cheeky. The cards are clever and keep the vibe going all night.

This game is so hilarious, I was not expecting it to be this fun to play! This is an easy to understand and quick to learn game that is even better when paired with some beers with friends. There are a LOT of different prompts that is included with the game, so you can play this several times and not run into the same prompts. The game pieces are "Karen hair cuts" with just the hair. The little details make this game so ridiculous in the best of ways. This game was a big hit with the few friends I've showed thus far, I know that during our next big game night with the whole crew over it will be a blast to play. With regard to target audience, I think this game is safe to play with anyone. If your parents/grandparents have a sense of humor then include them in the game too! I can see older teens having fun with the family playing this game as well. Overall, I give this 10/10. I wish the game pieces weren't so itty bitty (very tiny) but that's not a major critique and I could make my own pieces or use from another game if needed. An idea is taping the Karen hair pieces to other 3D game pieces to make them more visible.

My game group has the "You're Getting Old" game from this manufacturer, and we like it a lot (despite a few of us not being in the targeted age group.) We've played it several times. We were therefore looking forward to this game... but we did not find it fun. I could see this game appealing to people who enjoy sarcasm or snarky-ness as forms of humor, but those - and the statements that are based on spoken judgment of others - are just not things any of us find humorous. "You don't feed your pet because you ran out of time," is, to us, not funny in the least. "You didn't slow down or stop your car so a pedestrian could cross." What? The redeems? The redeems applied. We were all in the "negative zone" after a few rounds of play. We got lower and lower and lower as the game progressed. None of us ever got higher than level three. We stopped playing because we didn't find the "humor" funny. So few of the saucy prompts were applicable, let alone amusing. If you imagine what people refer to as "a typical Karen," then this game would appeal to someone like that: a semi-narcissistic, un-empathetic person. No one in my game night friends group (age range mid-30s to mid-50s) is anything like that.

I got this to be a gift for friends. After looking through the game though, there’s no way I’m giving this away. It is an absolute riot! The attention to detail is amazing. The Starbucks cup image shows a “Karen” logo instead of the usual mermaid. The #blessed at the final spot on the scorecard had me crying. I’m an old millennial or young gen z and I relate to so much of this game, it’s disturbing. Honestly this game would be fun for most generations, but if you’re 25-45, this is going to feel personal on one level or another. The prompts had me laughing out loud. I can’t wait to break this game out on my next game night. We’re all going to be laughing the whole night.
