## Description

The easy-to-use, lightweight and fast filtering QuickDraw Microfilter will enhance your water filtration system with its best-in-category user experience. Capable of filtering 3L of water per minute, the QuickDraw allows quick and easy access to clean water during any adventure, while two easy and effective cleaning methods—shake-to-clean and tool-free backflushing—ensure fast flow rates stick around for the duration of a trip. The QuickDraw’s inside/outside (I/O) dual-thread design securely attaches the filter to smartwater bottles, Cnoc bags, the Platy Hoser reservoir, most Platy bottles and many common 28mm plastic soda/water bottles, allowing you to develop your ideal personalized filtration kit. The ConnectCap allows the filter to easily connect with nearly any water reservoir, allowing you to fill them through the drink tube by removing the bite valve, or using a bottle adapter kit to fill wide-mouth Nalgene, HydroFlask, and Yeti Yonder water bottles. With an ergonomic clean side spout, the QuickDraw makes it easy to deposit filtered water into any clean reservoir or directly into your mouth. An attached flip-up clean side cap and grippy-but-not-sticky filter housing eliminate frustrations like leaking water in the pack, lost small parts, and dirt-caked gear. The QuickDraw Microfilter weighs just 2.4 oz and measures a compact 5 x 1.8 inches. Designed and manufactured with Platy’s decades of hydration expertise, the filter requires no assembly out of the package and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Made in the USA

Review: Why did I wait to switch? - GOATED water filter. 25 seconds for a liter. I came from using the Sawyer Mini which was very reliable and easy to back flush and if you're not in a hurry it works fine. Then I switched to the standard Sawyer and it just never really flowed that great for me, easy to clog, needs to be back flushed regularly, needed a plunger at all times. Used the Platypus Quickdraw for the first time this weekend and couldn't believe the flow rate. I used the gravity filter attachment that comes with the filter and it almost takes longer to set the gravity system up than to just pump my liter of water and go to the next one. Easy to shake clean with some fresh water and also easy enough to use gravity system to back flush if you still needed to. Don't know why I suffered with drips of water from Sawyer when I could have been using the Quickdraw all along. Another great product from Platypus, will be recommending to all my hiker friends.
Review: I think it's better than the Sawyer squeeze - I do a lot of thru-hiking. Long trails such as the PNT, PCT, CDT, GET, and many others where a filter is needed. Until recently, I've almost exclusively used the Sawyer Squeeze. I used it with a CNOC bag and the SP150 coupler to hand filter my water. It's worked good, but then I tried this one last year for a thru of the CDT. Compared to the Squeeze, this has a faster flow rate (at least initially). The filter seemed to slow down a little faster than the sawyer, but was quick and easy to back flush. The thing that make this filter nice is the lighter weight compared to the Squeeze. This filter (dry) comes in at 2.4 ounces complete (with adapters and end caps) compared to the 2.9 ounce weight of the Squeeze. If you add the SP150 coupler for the Squeeze to do hang filtering, it adds another 0.2 ounces. It's not a lot of extra weight, but when your walking 3000 miles, any reduction in weight helps. The bottle adapters needed to connect to water bottles (Dasani, Smartwater) and bags (CNOC, Playpus, and others) are included as part of the filter ends. The filter also includes caps to seal the ends, something the Sawyer doesn't have. I got Giardia on a previous hike with the Sawyer which I'm sure happened due to keeping the filter in a ziploc bag and having water droplets get into the input side of the filter (the Platypus is fully enclosed with the end caps on, so you don't need a ziploc for it). I hiked the CDT and never had to replace this filter. I did keep in well maintained and back flushed it in every town. During the hike, I was also able to integrity test the filter and it maintained integrity even after the hike was done. For my next big hike, I did replace the filter to be safe, but it probably could of kept going fine. I'm not saying the Squeeze is bad, but the Quickdraw does things better. Quick summary: Quickdraw weight: 2.4 ounces (complete) vs 3.1 ounces for the Squeeze (3.1 ounces with SP150 coupler, more if you add end caps) Bottle adapters and end caps are included with the Quickdraw filter Quickdraw has fast flow rate when hang filtering and back flushes easily It's a bit cheaper than the Sawyer Squeeze

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best filter on the market!!
*by J***N on February 1, 2026*

The flow rate on these is crazy compared to all the other brands I’ve used. These are the only filters I’ll ever use. Great price, great flow and easy to use. These things look great, are lightweight and are the ideal size for those back country adventures. Plus they last forever.
