Bought these for my grandsons first deer hunt! He had been using traditional earplugs and couldn’t hear a thing! These allowed him the protection he needed but allowed him to still hear what was going on around him. So much safer! I don’t understand how they work but they work!

I got this to use at the range. It uses batteries so it's easy enough to power up. The power button also serves as the volume for you to hear normal conversations and sounds. It does a pretty good job at dropping the noise once the bang hits. I was able to not get hearing damage, but still hear my surroundings once I finished firing. The ear cushions are pretty comfy and are supposed to be easy to replace when they wear out. The head cushion is ok. The only issue I kind of had was they were so tight on my ears/head. I know they are supposed to be snug for hearing protection, but damn. Felt like my head was going to crush at first.

I bough these for regular visits to the range. I had been using plugs, which worked for protecting my hearing. But, I couldn't hear instructions. I got these because they were cost effective. They also are effective at providing hearing protection. The overall protection level could be a bit better, but they do allow me to adjust the volume so that I can hear the range master and other shooters talking at a normal voice, even from several feet away. They are as comfortable as any other over the ear muffs I have ever worn.

Good for the money.
