Columbia Men's Fast Trek Ii Full Zip Fleece

My new size medium jacket fits me perfectly (5' 11", 155 lbs.) It is cut a little closer to the body, but I prefer a more streamlined fit. It is not at all tight on me, just nicely fitted. The chest pocket is handy, and I like the contrasting zipper color. It is definitely lightweight, but perfect for cool winter days in the Arizona desert. It would probably make a good base for layering since it wouldn't add a lot of bulk. The construction is decent for the price. This is my first Columbia product purchase.

Looks new after washed many, many times. Holds it shape! Hold its solid color! Very soft and comfortable! Great Quality ! Great Jacket. It is great to run in and out of the cold up to 35 degrees. Much colder and you need a heavier jacket. It is however very flexible so that you can wear it inside a building during the day and be very comfortable with a long sleeve shirt on under it.

I like the jacket because it is comfortable, warm, and seems well made. This is part of a 'layered' system for international travel in cooler weather. I wear a light weight shirt using this fleece as a second layer under a waterproof shell jacket when it is cold or as a top layer when it is warmer. I travel light with only a carry-on backpack and this is the bulkiest article of clothing if packed so it is perfect for wearing on the plane as it is warm but not too bulky and will feel like pajamas on those long flights. I do wish that it had an inside pocket as you can never have enough pockets when travelling.

I commute 45 miles each way so I was looking for a warm yet lightweight winter jacket to wear in the car as a stand-in for my heavy duty coat. It fits the bill perfectly and like every other Columbia product I've ever owned (probably 10 or more bits of apparel) the quality is excellent. Of course since it's fleece it won't work well in rain and it's not for sub-20 temps but living in the great white north like I do it's a great layering piece of clothing and while I haven't tried it yet I suspect I could wear my heavy duty coat on top of it. Good coat for the buck!

I have seen other good fleece but when you buy this Columbia, you know what you are getting. It is good quality and lasts long. the breast pocket is a plus and the hand pockets are at a comfortable height and depth. the zippers on the pockets are very good for securing your items. It does seem thinner than previous jackets in this line but not by much. It is unlined which make it lighter and pack-able. I would buy again.

As soon as I read all the complaints about the sleeves being too tight, I knew I had to have it. That's because I have an older, heavier model which I love. The reason that the sleeves are tight is to hold in the body heat-Duh! And that it does. This may not be the fit for everyone, but if you want a light fall and spring jacket that helps keep you warm, this will do it and the price is a steal compared to what you'd pay on Columbia's website.

185lbs, 5"11 order one size smaller than normal columbia runs big, goes for all jackets and shirts. I normally order large, medium is perfect fit. Warm fleece cant wear it indoors for too long stsrt to sweat, not a bad thing. I love this jacket. I throw it on to go to my garage thats connected to house technically, but not.

I bought this to replace an "old favorite" fleece jacket. My old jacket is made from a fuller type of fleece and is soft and comfortable. Cozy would be a good word. This jacket is made from micro-fleece which is a tigher weave, and the material is thin and utilitarian. It reminds me of fleece I used to wear when backpacking and rock climbing. It keeps you warm, but it looks and feels like workout gear! My wife tells me this jacket is more "form fitting" and makes me look less "frumpy" than my old jacket. I like frumpy, it's more comfortable, and as I get older I simply don't care. lol But, my real gripe is that the sleeves on this jacket are made for guys with pencil arms. Seriously! I'm 5'6" tall and I've got a 40 inch chest. I buy large jackets and shirts because medium sizes are usually too tight. My arms are not massive, so usually my sleeves are roomy. But, not with this jacket. I have serious trouble pulling this jacket over a long sleeved shirt. I'm frustrated each time I put it on. I have to button my sleeves and then tug this jacket up my arm. *AAARG*. On the whole, this is a nice utilitarian sport fleece. You'll keep warm. That is if you can get your arms in the thing.

Excellent product quality. Nice stitching. Color was very vibrant. Little bit costly but quality has a price so it's OK. Was effectively warm at 5'c. Not sure about - 'c. Size - was a little bigger. If you are lean and 40 is your shirt size then better to go for L. If you are little fat go for XL.
