A6 Piston Fountain Pen Fine Soft Nib, Jet Black Hollow Skeleton & Resin Pen with Metal Case Set

While this is a gorgeous pen, still, it is not the most gorgeous one that I own. As I, like many of you who may come to read this, have many, many pens. And as far as looks are concerned, I have an Asvine fountain pen, which actually resembles this pen in a great many ways, only, it is much more pointed/rounded at each of it's ends (which, just so happens to be the single defining characteristic of that pen, which makes it so much more beautiful than this one in particular... If Hongdian made a pen like this one, which also had a more rounded/pointed shaped tip at either end of the pen, they would have a winner, for BEST PEN ALL AROUND in my collection, provided it also wrote the same way that this one does!) The thing that is astonishing about this pen in particular, is it's nib I guess, is what would be responsible for it writing so very well, and for it FEELING the way that it does when I am writing with it. Which, in the end, is the single most important factor of a pen that will decide whether or not I will use it all of the time, or just frequently - should my more preferred pens be in need of filling, or cleaning, or whatever. This pen not only writes gorgeously, providing a nice, wet, and clear line, and just the exact right amount of feedback when writing on my favorite paper (which happens to be printing paper, which I purchase, and use my printer in order to print out lined, or dotted, or graphed paper upon which I then use this, and all of my many other fountain pens to write), but something about it - I'm not exactly certain just WHAT "it" is - also makes my handwriting look that much more interesting, and even more, presentable, I dare say... This pen is just a pure joy to write with, and I am a person who enjoys the art of putting a pen to a piece of paper, and writing in order to communicate, or to tell a story, or even just to write, just to write! So I absolutely love this pen, and it has quickly become an irreplaceable addition to my collection. If something were to happen to it - God forbid - I would instantly have to jump right back on Amazon, and place an order for a replacement! And as it happens, I am already planning to purchase several more of these, just so that I can have one in different nib sizes, and in different aesthetics, as far as design, and color/finish are concerned! I really love this pen, and I hope that I am able to enjoy it for many many years to come. And I would highly recommend this pen to anyone who is looking for a fountain pen that is, well, just MORE than so very many of the other more ordinary pens found here on Amazon, or anywhere else for that matter! If you are looking for a new, beautiful pen to purchase, that will write well, and look magnificent while doing so, then look no further!

This pen is amazing, absolutely beautiful, great construction, works perfect, great consistency, very fluid, feels amazing at hand and very comfortable on long writing sessions, F nib is very juicy. This new Hongdian nibs are very soft and bouncy, this is very unexpected for a steel nib, this pen worth more than really expensive pens.

Filling mechanism broke after 1 week of use and 2 times refilling. Pen does not hold much ink. only got 2 days use before having to refill. This pen looks beautiful, but it is ultimately crap.

Honestly, I didn't expect much out of this pen. However, it's managed to outlast my TWSBI ECO demonstrator. This one isn't a true demonstrator, but you can see the ink level through the skeleton frame when you hold the pen up to the light. Cleaning it has been fairly straightforward. The piston fill is fine. I don't post the pen, ever. I feel like doing so would damage the body or inadvertently twist the piston mechanism and leak ink. The pen does feel a little unbalanced and is hefty in the hand. However, it writes smoothly. Even for heavily shimmered/glittery inks, I haven't experienced much, if any, clogging. If you're very new to fountain pens and want one that looks good without breaking the bank, this is a decent place to start!

The pen is lovely, but it does not fill with ink very well. The piston filler is no where as good as the regular converters I have in other pens. If you cannot suggest how to make it more efficient, I will have to return it. Thank you

Beautiful pen. Flows nicely and the weight is perfect. It's not that comfortable to write for long periods of time tho.

Looks amazing. Writes perfect out of the box. Slightly heavy but I like the way it feels in the hand. Fine nib writes smooth and decently thin on good high gsm paper. Writes like a medium on cheap notebook paper. Over all I really enjoy this pen a lot.

I have a decent number of high end pens and this one competes with them all. I have Montblanc, high end Watermans, Parker, etc. This pen is very well designed and writes like a dream. So smooth. The piston has a pretty high ink capacity too. For the price, it is fantastic. It competes with my $1000+ pens in quality and writing ability. The design is quite nice. It is a pretty pen. I highly recommend it. One of my new favorites.

Das ist die neue Zeit. Ein Füller, der edel aussieht und gut schreibt für eher kleines Geld ohne abkopiert zu sein. Er schreibt gut und macht Spaß. Ich habe meinen Lieblingsfüller daneben gelegt, damit man die Länge sieht. Der Korpus ist aus Kunststoff und das goldfarbene Material der Verzierung aus Metall angeblich Edelstahl. Wie stabil dies ist wird man sehen. Es ist eine Kolbenmechanik eingebaut. Alles wunderbar aber ob die Beschichtung hält? Man sieht auf dem Clip schon Kratzer …

Una delle più belle stilografiche che abbia mai visto e un rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile.

Für den Preis ein schöner Kolbenfüller. Schickes Design, feine aber sehr weiche Feder. Mal schauen, wie lange sie hält. Kleiner Nachteil ist das relativ kleine Tintenreservoir. Aber für den Preis ist er als extravaganter Füller für Einsteiger sein Geld wert.

Dieser Artikel kam als Weihnachtsgeschenk gut an. Er besticht nicht nur durch seine Farbe und Aufmachung, sondern wurde auch in der Verwendung von dem Beschenkten sehr gelobt.
