It's a perfect size. The ends are extendable, like a police baton. Fully extended, it holds my VERY heavy vintage wedding kimono(s) perfectly. The hanger IS surprisingly lightweight. In fact I was a bit concerned the kimono(s) would be too heavy for the hanger but it's holding just fine. I'm using kimono as an art piece for the master bedroom of our new place. I have 3 that i plan to change out every few months for a little change of scenery on a wall that's just wide enough to accommodate Japanese wedding kimonos. Now, I need to decide what type of hanger holding hardware thingy to use on my precious new wall! UGH. Something with an Asian feel perhaps!?

I plan to hang this Kimono over the couch in the living room (as soon as I find an appropriate mount). The kimono hanger works perfectly. The telescoping arms mean it can be the exact length. The rope that holds the hook at the top also happens to prop the kimono collar up. The bar for the obi is nicely placed, letting it just peak through and be seen. All in all, I'm more than pleased.

We've had a beautiful kimono in a suitcase since serving in Japan 50 years ago and finally decided that it was a real work of art and should be displayed in our new home. This hanger with expandable arms is absolutely perfect. The kimono is so easy to hang with the expandable arms. It's now at the top of our staircase and looks great there. We bought a decorative hook to hang it from.

Perfect for displaying the yukata and obi that I purchased in Japan last spring. I enjoy getting to see it everyday, instead of hiding away in a drawer. The item seems very sturdy, but the hook and string were originally lopsided which required some adjusting to make the yukata hang level. I was a bit disappointed that the item's packaging listed China as the country f manufacture.

My husband had given me a present of a kamona from a business trip Now I am enjoying it as a work of art on my wall. The hanger is of good quality and shows the kamona with sleeves that are also embroidered.
