Morning Joe dark roast is fresh, aromatic, has a bold but smooth taste. Not as dark as some, but this fits within my preferred flavor profile just fine. Has a slightly tangy finish, but not tangy like a light roast. It has that mild bite of dried fruit and baking chocolate very much like as described. Not as a flavor, but as a finish essence. BTW, I drink my coffee black. I like it strong and chewy. I find that I prefer to add a little more coffee to the pot than I do with some coffee, including other Starbucks options. But I like it. It gives me a little added pep in my step, which is welcome. I would consider it again.

I like really strong coffee. This isn't the strongest coffee that Starbucks makes, but I feel like it is the best balance of strength, flavor, and availability. This product is regularly available in grocery stores and online. You can find it in beans and pre-ground. Most people would think this is a strong coffee, so while it isn't as strong as I can enjoy, it meets my needs and is not so over the top that I can't really serve it to other people. I also really just like the flavor of this coffee. I know it seems like people either "love" or "hate" the flavor profile of SBUX coffees, and I certainly fall close to the "love" side of the equation, but some of their blends can be fairly one-dimensional. I find this one to actually have a few different notes and I taste it in different ways on different days. Maybe depending on my mood? I also find that this really stands up in coffee cocktails where you want something that isn't basic and that will be overwhelmed by the spirits. Overall, this is a great "go to" coffee.

We love Mornin’ Joe and have a hard time getting it at our local grocery stores. It is nice getting a box of 6 bags to keep us in stock.

Very disappointed in this Starbucks coffee. Doesn’t taste like same flavor I buy at grocery stores. Not the slightest hint of chocolate and no rich coffee aroma. I checked the expiration date and it said December 2025, so I thought it would be fresher. Maybe it was stored incorrectly or got too hot when shipped. Anyway, I didn’t save enough to make up for the poo taste so next time I’ll buy the grocery store.

I have been drinking Starbucks for over 25 years. First, french roast, then italian, Then in the mid 90's they came out with the Best, Gold Coast dark roast this has been my favorite since then they changed the name To Morning Joe it is hard to get in the starbucks store but our local grocery store has it. This is the best coffee Starbucks makes.
