Spilled hexane on this bad boy and it smelled a little (nothing esters can’t fix lol). The cover has also held up with highly concentrated sulfuric acid so yay! It has plenty of pages so this lab book is coming with me to Ochem 2. 5/5 recommend.

The cover is nice, the paper is thick and sturdy. Gel pens and markers don’t bleed through the paper. It works! Spilled hexane on this bad boy and it smelled a little (nothing esters can’t fix lol). Exactly what I wanted. Great quality paper that ink doesn't bleed through. The only complaint I have (and it's minor) is that there is no exterior labeling or identification of this as a lab notebook, but I suppose you could always have that added using a label or with an external bindery service.
