No Bubbles, but...
This protector is different from the usual kind that lay smack up against the screen and, if you're unlucky enough to have the tiniest speck of dust on the screen, are guaranteed to have at least a few bubbles. This protector has a "frame" that's cut to the exact size and shape of the iPad's frame (the black or white border surrounding the screen). The Moshi's frame is the part that adheres to the pad, so the transparent part of the protector is ever-so-slightly raised and -- though it touches -- doesn't seal itself to the screen (and to the dust specks). As i said, this alleviates the dust/bubble issue. But because the protecter isn't practically fused with the Pad's screen, there's a tiny drop off in clarity (really tiny, to my eyes) and a bit of "rainbow" prism effect. But, so far, it's still the best solution I've found. I got the "Crystal Clear" version, not the anti-glare, but if I were to get another, I'd try the matte, anti-glare, since the reflectivity of the Pad itself, undiminished with this product, is increasingly annoying me when I watch video. I use the Power Support matte screen protectors on my iPhone but I always have some "genius" at the Apple Store put it on. I've never been able to avoid tons o' bubbles.

Looks great, but feels odd - also has too much shimmer
Easy to put on and no bubbles - however your finger often snags on the surface of the protector! I'm not sure if it's because of the material or the fact that the protector is hovering above the surface, but it's rather distracting when trying to do anything. Also, a rainbow-like sheen tends to occur - sometimes when facing you head on, but mostly when it's on any sort of an angle. While it's "magical" that there are no bubbles, the downsides make this a pain to use._Addendum: Been using it for a month so far, finger snagging issue seems to have disappeared. Found another downside: it can build up an extremely high static charge, attracting anything and everything to it. Very hard to get the charge to go away, and also has the problem of attracting 75% of the film to the actual screen surface. This attraction effect increases the rainbow shimmer noticeably as the film warps inwards. It's the middle of a hot and humid Michigan summer, yet this thing is attracting hair and dust like a balloon in the middle of a dry winter! The only remedy is to pull the film away from the screen - luckily it was made for multiple reapplications!Someone else mentioned the rainbow effect is from fingerprints - it is not; while fingerprints are noticeable, they do not make any rainbow effect, only look like fingerprints on glass and can easily be wiped off.I don't think I'd buy another one of these, as the static buildup and the rainbow shimmer make it distracting to use.

Does what it should
I like this product though I can't really see why I paid $30 for it. Doesn't seem so dramatically different than my previous, under $5 screen protectors. No, it doesn't have any air bubbles but instead there's this rainbow pattern (which is apparently normal). I can't see it when the display is on but when it's off, it looks like trapped water. I know it isn't, but quick glances give mini heart attacks. Other than that, easy application. I pulled it off to reposition it a few times and it still stuck just fine. There are rows of little dots which I'm assuming are for the anti-bubbles deal but they're not too distracting unless you're as OCD as I am. Bought this protector to use with an Adonit Jot Pro and it's working great. There are very very few noticeable scrapes on it, none of which can be seen when the screen is on. It's also faced some pretty tough dog claws so if you manage to really scratch this thing, you should reevaluate your life.

Buy this!
This product is the best. Hands down. I never write reviews, but had to do it in this case as I am so very pleased with this product. It does everything it says it does: SUPER easy to apply, nothing gets trapped on it or under it during application. I have one on my iPad2 as well and I have washed them and reapplied and the adhesive, even thru washing, holds up like a champ! I have the 4th generation and this crystal clear cover lets you see the retina screen properly with no issues at all. I can see perfectly. Just note, make sure not to get the iPad 2 version of this and put it on a 4th generation iPad. I broke my iPad 2 and bought the iPad 4th generation and tried to put my Moshi cover from the iPad 2 on my new one and it doesn't work. It fits, but it wasn't made to go with the retina display, so it looks grainy. If you get the crystal clear screen, I promise you that you will be extremely happy. Don't go for those version that cause bubbles or have to get professionally applied. This one is easy, affordable and you can use it again and again. Bonus: I have it paired with a new Logitech ultrathin keyboard cover and it does not in any way interfere when you prop it on it's side and fit it into the keyboard stand. It has some thickness to it, but doesn't interfere with anything. Buy this product!

Great but has a couple flaws.
As stated the screen protector was very easy to install, zero bubbles and really is 'crystal clear' for the retina display and feels almost like glass to the touch; there's one tragic flaw: there's a noticeable rainbow effect on the screen protector when the screen is off but isn't really noticeable when the screen is turned on with reasonable brightness.one other thing, the screen protector is bubble-free because it looks like the screen protector is perforated which, when examined closely, you can see when the screen is turned off - this means two things: the screen has potential to soak liquids (which is scary) and secondly the perforations could eventually house dust and such causing it to loose it's glass texture.I really like the clarity of the protector and will continue to leave it on for the life of this iPad but I find myself even more paranoid about liquids than when I had a zagg cover on it - definitely on the fence with this one.

Best screen protector I've ever bought!
There are a lot of people complaining on the forums about how they bought a quality screen protector and then ended up with bubbles and specks of dust under the film or, even worse, a ruined protector. I wanted to get a quality screen protector for my iPad 4 but was hesitant to spend so much money on a protector I might fail to install (it's much harder to install a protector on an iPad with its big screen than on a mobile half of its size). Then I read about Moshi iVisor and decided to order one from Amazon. I chose the XT version which is 'clear' -- there is also the AG-version but, based on my research, one should always choose a clear protector if avoiding reduction in picture quality is important. The installation process was so easy as only the borders imitating the iPad's bezel have adhesive on them. I was all done in about 1-2 minutes. The results were fantastic. First of all, the iVisor is thicker than most protectors so it gives you peace of mind. On the other hand, while it's not edge to edge leaving about 1 mm or less of the real bezels visible, the iVisor is not that noticeable. Second of all, the image quality of the iPad's Retina display does not suffer. The sharpness was still the same (like reading a piece of paper instead of a screen) and the brightness was superb. I haven't noticed any rainbow effects on the screen. With the iVisor on, I think the iPad is a little less responsive but not much. The texture of iVisor has some friction but I think it's a pleasure moving your finger around the screen. Finally, I can confirm that the iVisor is accessory-friendly: it fit in the groove of my Zaggkeys BT keyboard and the magnets on the keyboard attached extra firmly to the iPad through the iVisor. When you consider that the iVisor is 100% bubble-free, super easy to install (I didn't even use the 'hot shower' trick to avoid dust), reusable (you can just wash it and apply it again and again) and gives you added protection because of its thickness without being overly noticeable, it's worth the price and highly recommended!

Two minutes and it's on
I have tried others that cling to the screen and I've lost ten years off of my life with the stress involved. Can they be put on without bubbles? Probably. Can I do it? Definitely not!The cloth provided with this product cleaned the screen perfectly and left not a single speck of dust. A minute later the cover was on, looking no different than before I put it on and I was taking it slowly as I didn't want a screen protector of this price following the 'cheapies' in the bin. It's day 1 and so I don't know how it will wear but today I'm glad I spent the extra money and have an ipad that is protected from scratches without resembling a pimply youth.

Moshi XT Screen Protector for iPad 3 / Best Buy
This is the best screen protector for the iPad 3 that I have tried to date. Make sure you purchase the `XT' crystal clear version, as it will not diminish the beauty of your retina display. Because of its design, which means that (a) you don't get any bubbles, as you will with just about any other protector and (b) it `floats' ever so slightly above the surface of the screen (we're talking microns here ...) you will notice that the feel of it is at first just ever so slightly strange, but you'll soon get used to it, as I did. Within 10 minutes I'd forgotten what the gorilla glass felt like and was totally happy with the feel of the Moshi protector. The different tactile experience is a very small price to pay, given that the Moshi fulfils where others failed (me). And you can remove it, wash it and reapply it, should that be required (as long as you ensure to not crease it in any way). I have already bought and applied the Belkin, Gear4 (which was the best, before I bought the Moshi, but it scratched too easily) and I also wasted 20 quid on the highly rated SPIGEN SPG anti-glare, which was in fact the worse protector I tried. It went on with much anxiety, the dust stickers didn't do anything to rid the tons of dust it attracted (even though I was applying it in a near-sterile environment) and it must have had 100 bubbles after application. Off it came and into the bin it went. Stay away from the SPIGEN! All in all, I'd say you'll be well-pleased if you forget all the rest and splash out for the best, Moshi should be your first choice (to avoid the headaches and loss of dosh that I have experienced!).

Highly recommended for retina display ipad.
The first iVisor I needed to return as it was scratched, I contacted the seller and they responded promptly, first time I have used returns via Amazon and it couldn't be easier. The second one I needed to re-order, it arrived promptly and I am delighted with it, the iVisor is very easy to attach, protects my ipad and does not affect the visual quality in any way, it is as described ~ crystal clear. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend.

Save your money
On the plus side, it was easy to install and there were no bubbles...for all of the 25 days that I could use it....!!!After coming off 2-3 times, I simply cannot stick it back on. Its an almost complete waste of >25 euros...!!Do yourselves a favor and buy 30 of the regular screen protectors you could for the price of 1 of these. You would still not be happy about the scratches and bubbles, but atleast you would not feel ripped off.
