was not having too high expectations of this lens. but it is actually not too bad. not modern lens sharp but acceptable for social media posting. the overall construction is actually quite good.

Exactly as expected. It’s the same lens as a disposable camera; if you’re old enough to remember those, remember the blurry shots or the slightly out of focus. I have this on a Sony ZVE10. I like the lo-fi look. It forces you to be more creative with composition and light because the lens isn’t putting in any work. This lens knows it’s plastic and fun. It isn’t trying to be serious glass. Fun little lens and so lightweight.

With the advanced cameras on our phones these days, quality photos aren’t hard to come by. But there’s something to be said for the ole charm that this lens produces. Is it technically diminishing quality? Yes. But does it give you that perfect family vacation from the 90s look? Yes. I took this lens with me on my trip to Japan and left my other lenses at home. The simplicity and nostalgic look really reigniting my love for photography all over again. It also made my camera so slim! So I found myself reaching for it over my phone to capture memories. Can’t recommend it enough.

I've shot a few times with this upcycled Body Cap Lens, and I love almost everything about it. The images? They've got this unique, old-school vibe that's just awesome. And the fixed focus? It's like a throwback to simpler times in photography. But, here's the bummer: my lens came with a couple smudges or some pesky dust specks on it. Tried getting them out with an air blower, but no luck. Super sad about it, 'cause this lens was hitting all the right notes for me. Fingers crossed I can somehow get it off. The lens surface itself is practically unreachable through the tiny pinhole in the body cap. Love the concept, just not the quality control.

This is such a fun lense to use. I took it with me all over Europe and although I brought other lenses, this one was the one I used the most. It gives that nice film, vintage look and is really fun to play with. Sometimes it’s hard to capture when it’s too bright, but for the price, this is one heck of a steal. This was truly a surprisingly amazing purchase.
