Compact Powerhouse – The Ultimate EDC Flashlight!
The OLIGHT Baton 4 blew me away with its performance and build quality. This little flashlight is insanely bright for its size—up to 1,300 lumens that easily light up a backyard or trail. It's perfect for everyday carry, camping, night walks, or keeping in a glovebox. What really sets it apart is the charging case—not only does it recharge the flashlight multiple times, but it also shows battery levels for both the light and the case. That’s next-level convenience, especially for travel or extended outdoor use. The magnetic base and side switch are classic OLIGHT features I’ve come to love, and they work flawlessly here too.The Baton 4 feels solid in hand, has a premium finish, and fits in any pocket or bag. Battery life is excellent, and the beam quality is crisp and wide.

Amazing little flashlight
I’ve been carrying a NiteKing M10 in my pocket for almost 10 years. It’s worn through several Cargo pant pockets (!) but it has served me well and is really bright, using a rechargeable EBL 14500 battery.Recently, I invested in a Micro Maxpedition EDC pocket pouch and have been able to add to my EDC carry list without too much bulk in my front pocket. Having the larger NiteKing in my pocket, in addition to the pouch, is impractical. I needed a much smaller flashlight. After a lot of research, I ordered the Baton 4 (in black/blue). It was a tough call at nearly $70 for such a tiny thing but, what a tiny thing! I was really tempted by the green/gold version. That looks gorgeous. However, I know this light will get dirty and scratched over time. Black is better in the long run..When I got the OLIGHT in my hand, it was even smaller than I’d imagined. It actually fits really well in my pouch because it is so small but I decided to keep it in my pocket as that makes it more quickly accessible, especially in the dark. I like the fact that you can easily lock the power button, with a long press when off. My NiteKing often warmed my leg before I realized it was on. I’ve already used the magnet on the end, to hold the flashlight above my bench in my unpowered garage. That feature is very useful and can even act as a retrieval magnet for dropped items when a cord is attached via the pocket clip. The double-bent pocket clip not only allows for clipping on a pocket flap, but for clipping on the peak of a cap, as a headlight. The light weight means the cap doesn’t drop down at all..The beam intensity and battery power LED indicators on either side of the power button are not visible when your thumb is on the button. They extinguish fairly soon after a button press and often, I look, see just my thumb, remove my thumb, and they are dark. Useful though. The power button has been reduced in height from the Baton 3. It is now almost flush with the body. That actually makes it harder to locate by feel. I’ve learned to feel for the pocket clip in my grip and the button is opposite that. I’d actually prefer a more tactile button, using the lock feature to avoid accidental operation. With gloves on, that power button is really tricky to find!.I’ve not used it long enough for the temperature control to kick in and kick down the brightness when in Turbo and High. Turbo is awesome. Even high is fantastic. Incredible when you consider the size of this light. Low and medium are often enough, though I must admit I love a bright white light when out in the dark. You have more time when that man-eating animal comes for you. 😊 Moonlight mode at 0.5 lumen is handy when you don’t want to disturb your partner, though you need dark-adjusted eyes for it to be really effective. The controls are easy to learn and operate..My photos were taken at Low, Medium, High, and Turbo. The tree is 60ft away and the garage doors, 130 feet away. The beam has a fairly large hotspot, but also a wide outer ring of light. My NiteKing has a much tighter beam and is not as bright. I guess that’s 10 years of development progress! 😉.I do like that I can have separate spare batteries for my NiteKing and can swap them out when the current battery is dying. As I understand it, you can still swap out for commercial versions of the Baton 4 battery but you can’t use the magnetic charger and charge in the flashlight. Not sure what other features also don’t work, maybe nothing else is affected. Only the OLIGHT proprietary battery allows that.I didn’t want to spend $100 for the charging case kit. $70 was enough and I’d be carrying a bulky charging case around with me. I already have a slimline, pocketable, INUI, 10,000 mAh, power bank..Overall, I am really pleased with the Baton 4. It’s proven well worth the money, especially since I won’t be wearing out pockets anymore! 😊

Little Beacon
This is a very handy little light. It is powerful and holds a charge long enough to be useful. It is at home in the hand or clipped on the bill of my cap to be hands-free. I like the color and design features along with the sturdy design. The little magnetic charger is super cool for just plugging it in and sticking it somewhere until it's ready to go again. This is an excellent light and I regard it with great appreciation clipped in my pocket or on the bill of my ball cap. Work light, convenience, or in a pinch it provides a blazing light or just enough to see where you're going, whatever you prefer. If I had money to burn I'd buy a dozen of them and give them to friends and family. It might be worth it anyway.

Compact, Powerful, and Perfect
I recently got the Olight Baton 4, and I’m really impressed! This little flashlight packs a punch with 1,300 lumens of brightness, which is more than enough for everyday tasks or emergencies. The size is perfect for carrying around—small enough to fit in my pocket but still powerful enough to get the job done.It even has a moonlight mode for when you need a super low light.Overall, this is a great little flashlight that’s reliable, bright, and easy to carry around. Highly recommend it for anyone who needs a high-quality EDC light!

O-My goodness this light rocks!
Extremely bright especially for it's size. It's hardly bigger than my thumb and can illuminate my entire yard. Build quality and color are fantastic and the knurling is extremely secure even when wet. Love that its rechargeable. The magnetic bottom is one of the best features on this light. I've used it countless times. I appreciate how they're open and honest about their runtimes. Love this thing. My favorite flashlight I've owned.

Great Pocket EDC but Charger Issues
This is a fine very small EDC, and if the form factory (tiny) is what you want then this is a great light. However there are some issues with the charger/battery that your need to be aware of:1.) You need to power the cap charger device from a dedicated 2amp wall wart. If you try to use it on a multiple outlet buss type charger it does not work reliably.2.) A replacement 650ma battery is only available from the OLIGHT web site @$15. The knockoff replacement battery you see here on Amazon are only 500ma. I never actually tried one of them, but I am suspect of there performance, you really need the genuine OLIGHT product. It is available from OLIGHT, but a hassle to order.

Small and Bright!
Great quality, feels great in my hands, very bright little light and tiny, fits in my pocket with no problem. Rechargeable battery through the magnetic cable from the bottom of the flashlight, so easy and convenient. So far so good holding charge.

Solid light
This seems to be a very high quality light. I've only worn it for about an hour, but it clips on to my hat and stays secure, and has a magnetic end to stick to things as well. It appears to be well sealed, I wore it in the rain for half of that hour. Bright enough, and very compact. I'm not sure what real-world battery life is, but this appears to be able be able to replace a headlamp. I saw Dan Becker refer to it on YouTube and decided to try it. I may pick up another!
