The initial impressions of the packaging and build quality of the NHB 12 were both excellent. These IEMs feel incredibly sturdy and have a very classy finish. They come with a variety of different ear tips, ranging from extra small to extra-large, which were remarkably effective at noise isolation despite having no ANC which complements the excellent sound quality and accuracy. The IEMs sport a high-quality integrated DAC with a two pin to lightning connector, and a normal two pin to aux cable (without an integrated DAC) for all other devices. The choice of lightning over USB-C seems like an odd decision considering how Apple has been moving away from the lightning connector as of late. The performance of these IEMs is very impressive, both with my own external DAC and with the integrated one, in relation to sound quality and noise isolation. The ear tips fitted my ear perfectly (a range of different tips was included but the standard ones worked for me) and were quite noticeably more effective in reducing background noise and very comfortable compared to other ear tips I tried. There is absolutely zero idle hiss with these IEMs; the tuning and soundstage make this a serious contender in the Hi-Fi IEM market.

For the price you do get a lot of nice features, the box is one of them, it is very clearly a high quality product and the way they have designed the packaging reflects that. Inside the box you get everything you need, with the option for Lighting or 3.5mm. They include a number of different sized gel earbud tips allowing for the perfect fit. Now these headphones are designed for enthusiasts in music and they are perfect for that, but for £269 (At the time of review) I don't know if I can fully recommend them as it is a lot of money for earbuds, granted they are brilliant in terms of sound quality but for the money you could get something else that dos the same job. Overall a good product but it is definitely a bit price to say the least. 4/5

USB-C接続ということでiPadProで Apple musicのハイレゾロスレスを 手持ちの一万円クラスの同じUSB-C接続のイヤホンと 聴き比べしてみました。 一万円クラスのイヤホンでも有線ならではの 音質の良さにはかなり満足していましたが さすがにこちらは高音の解像度の高さ、 低音の広がり、中音の明瞭さは 全く違いました。さすがにスゴイ音質でした。 付属品もケース、豊富なサイズのイヤーピース、 3.5mm接続のイヤホンケーブルも充実していて 恐るべし中華イヤホンと言えそうです。 もっぱらJAZZを聴きますが、 ハイレゾロスレス音源でなくても その音質の良さはかなりの満足感でした。 聴き浸るという感覚でした。
