I've never tried to wet a striker and then let it dry out to see if it works again. **Q: Does it expire? However, UCO makes excellent regular strike anywhere matches. With a quick dip in turpentine, nail polish or wax, you can make excellent water-resistant strike-anywhere matches.I also like to include some of the coated strike-anywhere matches with my stromproof matches.
